Export Native Playlist - Droid Incredible General

I have been searching the internet for a no-cost way to export the playlists I have made on my phone. So far I have not found anything.
Does anyone know how this can be done? At this point I will settle for a low cost method as well.
Thanks and a great 2011 to all at XDA!

enabling .wav during phone call

I've searched for a registry setting for my HTC Touch to disable the muting effect of an in-process phone call to enable Media Player to play sound.
I found only one instance of a registry setting... it was to change HKCU-Control Panel-SoundCategories-Attenuation
In this key, I have
0...0x0(0)
1...0x1(1)
2...0x2(2)
I've found one post where it says to change 0...0x0(0) to 0...0x0(1)
When I do this, I get
0...0x1(1)
1...0x1(1)
2...0x2(2)
and I am still unable to play a wav file during a phone call.
Can anybody offer any suggestions?
--Yes, I'm trying to get the infamous answering machine to work because my carrier here in China does not have voicemail. This has driven me into the underground obsession of scripting, tweaking, and hacking of my new, wonderful companion...WM6. After 3 months of poking, prodding, reading, buying software (SK Schema, Resco Registry Editor, etc.) I've finally signed up on the board. What a wonderful hobby (now that I've finally backed up a good configuration for myself!!!)
Hi
I've been looking for that tweak for a long time now (see my posts).
The bad news – It looks like nobody knows
The good news – It's possible – works in iSecretary
I think that the difference is the program that plays the wav file. Somehow the one who wrote iSecretary found a way to play wav files without the traditional WM5 ways.
Is there anyone who can help with this? With the powers vested in this forum and the incredible things I've seen here, there must be someone who know hows to pull this off!!!

How to "run" Linux apps on WM6?

I have two Linux apps, Tuxcards & Kontacts, for which I am urgently looking for data compatible WM6 apps.
Any suggestions?
bump...bump....bump...
you can import and export .vcf-style vCards.

I realized that about Kontacts myself by now.
But what about the XML file format of Tuxcards?

Not sure what exactly you trying to do ... but I am a long time Linux desktop user. Synchronising my HD2 with Kontact (the contacts and appointments) over SynCE and OpenSync without problems.
Syncing is of no interest for me, as I never use that unreliable process anyway.
Never sure what gets overwritten where.
I have TONS of tech notes stored in my Tuxcards archive which I need for my work. So I'm desperately looking for an XML viewer for my SmartPhone that can handle/display the TuxCards archive.
I've read a TuxCards look-a-like tool called BasketNotes, but it also only exports in HTML format.
And that makes the entire Collapsible Tree functionality of Tuxcards go away.
Its a real pain in the rear trying to browse through hundreds of static web pages on a smart phone.
Anyone know of a way to easily import Tuxcard XML archives e.g. into Phatnotes?
bump...bump...bump
Sorry, but I'm still looking desperately for an XML Reader for WM6.
Anyone got any ideas here?

Edit:
I just tested the 1st one in the results, and it works fine. It's ugly, but it works. Spend some time with the rest of the results if you're not happy with the 1st one.

Hhhmm, I had googled my eyes out for an XML WM6 reader and couldn't find *anything* other than Porn Sites & Crack Torrents....
I'll try the Haali Reader for starters.
Thankz a lot...
I tried all of those your Google list came up with and none works.
The best I get is some notepad like prog which reads XML like a flat text file.
Not one of them even cares to interpret the inner structure of the XML data, so no chance of a snowball in hell to get a hierarchical notebook like layout of it :-(
Specially that Haali app was a big disappointment here.
And even apps like phatnotes only support plain text file imports and TuxCards doesn't export to plain text....(only to HTML)

Stupid question for you then - Why not export to HTML and use Opera?
Edit: Sorry, just realised I missed one of your earlier posts...

The question wouldn't be that stupid if not for the ABYSMALLY LOUSY quality of that HTML export
While TuxCards itself offers dynamic tree navigation, the exported HTML file is one big static dump, w/o proper font sizing and minimal (if any) graphic support.
In essence, its a pain in the rear to review, specially on a PocketPC device.
I think they just put it in there to have something listed under "Export" (just like the PhatNotes folks with their lousy Text Only import "feature").

HTC Music Player

Hi Folks,
I hope I am not being lazy here, but I have looked around for a few days through many of the related forums to the HTC HD2 and Windows Mobile forums.
What I am interested in would be adding functions to the music player on the HD2.
I listen to a lot of audio books and have tried some of the (rather useless) audio book add-ons or stand alone apps for the phone. One or two of them just showed a list of books that would not or could not open; others just would not open at all or could not load on the phone.
Thinking laterally, as I do, the issue is I don't want a new app or an add-on to the tabs already available, just a change / addition to what is there already.
The Music Tab, great place to start. Why can't we have a little button the rewinds the book, or any other audio file, back 30 seconds every time you tap it. And why does the player not hold on to “where you stopped listening" and start from that point when you start play again later. A media book mark if you like.
So here is my request;
1. Can these be added to the music player? I do not have the skills to even work out if it is possible.
2. Could one of the many well accomplished coders who frequent the site manage to take this one. would it be a allot of work? Can it be added as a cab install?
I wish I knew the answers to at least one of these questions. You guys seem to be able to tweak and mod everything else on the phone. Or do I just need to learn coding, hacking or making .aa files from mp3s.
Hope someone can answer this, I for one think it would be a great addition to an already great phone.
Thanks guys (non-gender salutation)
Billy

Suggestions for College-needed apps?!

Hey guys, so I have just started my sophomore year at the University of South Florida and I was curious as to what you guys suggested for Apps that would help me out to keep me organized/useful calculator stuff or something
Something I am looking for is a finger friendly (Does anyone out there use their stylus anymore besides my dad? lol) Calendar app to easily use. Yeah there is the HTC Sense one. I am fine with that, but I always love convenience with my phone Another plus is, I update my NRG Rom a lot, so its easy to use with PIM Backup and such.
Help a guy out guys It's much appreciated in advance!
USF! USF! USF! I used to live in Clearwater... congrats on the fun in Florida man... anyways.. Use MS office 10 on the phone... Also, there is a great program for calculator.. It is an Emulator for the TI graphing series... Do a search for it here on XDA... if I am not mistaken, there is even a link to a legalyl free Ti-89 rom... You literally get ALL the same functionality as the real graphing calculator, but save $100.... Hope that helps
Not an app, but I find Google Sync invaluable for synching my email and Google Calendar with my phone.

Another very invaluable feature is the ability to tether or create a WiFi hotspot, both of which are already included in the Energy ROM.
Search the forums for "keep recording" (or just scroll through the "software worth installing thread" stickied in this forum, it's on post 2). I use it all the time to record important conversations about manuscripts we are working on, so I can dictate thoughts later into paragraph form. Keep recording lets you save to storage card, rename, and pause a recording session to skip over parts you are not interested in. I figure it would probably come in handy for reviewing class sessions or key parts of a lecture when a prof is discussing something important.
A program like spb wallet (or similar freeware) is also handy for storing University ID, pins, and email/web passwords securely. I couldn't live without it.
Evernote: (also in the software worth installing thread) is good for taking/viewing quick notes, reminders) Notes are stored on the cloud, and can be accessed and added to from any computer. I've heard a lot of good things about it, though haven't gotten around to installing it yet since I can accomplish essentially the same thing with the synced tasks and calendar on my MS enterprise account.

[Q] Sense Music Tab

i am using cloudy 0.7 wm6.1 with manila 2.5.20183025.0 and i never really used the music tab before, in fact i deactivated it and always used coreplayer to listen to music and books on tape.
now i decided to give it another go and face some questions about that tab/player:
1. how do i exclude folders from the library or define certain files to be the sole library? i don't want hundreds of tracks from my audiobooks in there, just music.
2. i read of people mentioning sense's capabilities of downloading album art but i can't seem to find any option for that.
btw. if anybody knows a nice freeware/open source program (for windows pc) for automated sorting and renaming mp3s based on internet databases like cddb, where you have to check and do manually as little as possible, it would be very nice. unfortunately, most of my music is highly unsorted, and all programs i tested so far need to much work on the user side to not totally mess up and that way it would take me ages to get my stuff sorted out.
thanks
Tony
EDIT: additional information:
i realize, not exactly many people seem to use that rom these days, so to further clarify what version of the player this is all about, i attached some screenshots, so basicly anybody with the same version could drop some advice here

I cannot help with the HTC sense stuff, but i can recommend MP3tag I have used it for years to keep my music library in order.
It does need a bit of user input but i have found it very helpful, it is especially good at making sure all tags follow the same format & making sure that all data is in the correct fields, it can also import album art from a number of places.
I agree about mp3tag (I'm using it for years too), but...
mp3tag helps if music archive is at least partially organized... or you have a lot of time
But once you organize it... man, you can do with mp3tag small wonders...
I have never seen mp3tag downloading album art from anywhere
Still, I'm highly recommending mp3tag (check screenshot)
