Everytime i flash android my phone the screen just turns black randomly and I have to take the battery and reflash it. Why ?

Does it just randomly reboot, or does the screen not turn on when you press the standby button? Please give us as much info as you can or we can't help you.

The screen doesnt turn on when you press the standby button, the buttons light up though.

If You talking about this Guys.... but probably not.....

As far as I know, the timer can't be reset without some advanced editing that's way beyond the average user (e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=314262)

1:05 HR != 0:00 HR.
As long as a phone even gets a second of talk time on it, it's not "new" anymore. Look up the dictionary on what "new" means.

Why exactly do you want to reset it so badly?
If you say 1:15min is still new..... then you shouldn't have to change anything - right? Afterall... it's new.
I personally don't know if it is illegal or not, but I think people here feel your intentions might be a bit.... well.... a bit "suspicious" and they feel they might be helping out a scammer.
I think resetting it would be useful in terms of keeping track of how much time you spend on the phone (for example every month). On my other non windows phones, I could always reset the call duration times (with use of a password). But here, it seems you need third-party software to keep track of usage time every month.
So, again.... why exactly do you want to reset that? You said it yourself... it's still new!

Hi everyone,
please help me, after upgrading my phone to various 6.5roms last night-all was successful, and im wondering why before going to sleep, the last rom i upgraded it stuck to " tap the screen to set up the phone to windows " then nothing happens after i tap the screen.
Next day, i'd try other rom, but then same happen, it stuck to " tap the screen to set up the phone to windows."
uhuhuhuh, was my phone broken?????

Give more details plz.....
Anyways here are some suggestions
1. If in the tap screen the screen goes white then just guess the position of the arrow and tap in middle and u will see all.
2. Or try to charge your battery then try to flash a working rom....

Thanks a lot sir, what I did was I just take out the battery and memopry card for about 30 minutes, and flashed again the ROM, it's all okey now.

Lol, Btw hope to hear new lite builds from you soon, check out Andrewsh ROM using Asus P525, latest ROM 28217, its very nice and had been using his updated ROMs for more almost 2 years.

That type of rom i have already made and using it but it has no bluetooth coz i had to remove bluetooth for working today setting etc...
I wish that opal prob soon get resolved so that i can share rom with u all. No one is sharing the secret who have figured it out like nguoc although i have requested him lets see if he tell us or not...

But rem you yourself think thats not fair. As who taught them all these cooking stuffs offcourse our xda then when we are asking something why they cant share? Are we asking money to them? Just how to fix a problem that many are facing..
However the new EC05 one I have doesn't. Does anyone know where to get that feature? I've looked in the market place but the "smart" alarms in there are not what I'm looking for, they try to guess when you are just finishing a dream cycle.
I'm looking for the one that starts 5 mins before you set it and it turns the screen on very dim, then brighter as time goes by. It also has nice soothing music that starts out low and gets louder.

I believe you are looking for stock clock app from stock froyo rom.
You can find it on stockapps provided by ACS SRF thread in dev section.
Its on the 2nd thready I think.

The install scripts usually run device specific mount commands. Replace it into a flashable zip for ur device and it should work fine.

i dont get wat you have written here...but if you are having problem with heptic feeds..try resting you rom, if still having problem flash another rom ...prefer 2.3.3 orange leak (shadow-112) rom

I'd like to up this topic.
The vibration of my Defy is starting to weaken. I can't seem to notice it any more.
Is the engine dying after 1.5j? ...
Someone else having issues? Are there some DIY parts?
Edit: Ok, I changed the vibrate pattern and I can definitely notice it when it is on long.
So it seems that it is not net fully non-functional. Hope it won't fully die soon.

Ok then but the difference between mine and the play store on is the mine actually changes the value so you don't have to worry about battery drain and mine also let's you choose whatever volume boost you want but to each there own I was only trying to help out and give another choice

this changes the values as well, no extra battery drain. but im gonna try yours.
Please let me no of and how it works as I don't have a nexus 5 to test it on

i flashed the one with 90 volume, and volume stopped working, same with the phone app, it stopped working. i went back and flashed 90 from the other app, and its working again.
