Is it possible/ recommended to OC the factory ROM after rooting?
yes you can, see HERE for Gorilla's OC kernel. I would recommend Beta V.05 found in post #2
Yes, v.05 had been most stable on my phone.

Hello,
Recently rooted and put glacier on it. Wow so clean! Any links on how to oclock and switch thekernels?

The kernels you flash from recovery just like you would a rom and if you have an overclocked kernel, you use setcpu to over/under clock the processor.
Swyped on my rooted MyTouch4G
I have a stock rom rooted and was wondering what oc kernal I can put on it? I assume that you would flash it from recovery using rom manager.
Check it under dev section you will find list there.
Thinking about flashing the smartass kernal to my phone, have any of you done this? If so what are the pros and cons of this kernal, does it save battery, and could you walk me through the process of doing this? Running CM7 nightly build 28.

OC TO 1.5GHz
Just read through the thread, the pros and cons are laid out by numerous people. As for flashing instructions, just choose "choose zip from sd" locate the kernel, and flash over your current OS. DO NOT WIPE DATA! Just flash and done!
Ok, thanks.

With LorDMod V1.2.2 you can OC up to 1958 MHz, but be carefull and read the instructions.
Many thanks. Will try em.

Be careful and have fun.
Ok.. tried to flash with full wipe zip, clear dalvik cache. Flash was successful until it starts to reboot once I turned the WiFi on. And its stuck on bootloop. Seeing the prob, I flash back to my previous ROM. any thoughts?

Read the first thread of cm7 mate...
You should reboot first after the flash of rom...
Never turn on wifi at first reboot..
Always reboot 1x2x to make it as fresh as possible..

Thanks mate. Will try again tomorrow.

How to access the phone SD through PC? When i connect to PC, it just shows charging, USB debugging. The option to sync or access SD is not there.

Just touch in the notification "charging", the same way you do in sense...

Is it possible to overclock the stock HTC Tattoo ROM using SetCPU and some kernel Patches? If it is possible where can u get the kernel patch for a stock ROM?
I think it would be possible IF you've got an overclocking app that runs on android 1.6 AND overclock kernel.

I'm running virtuous unity 1.29 with the unity v4 kernal and i was wondering what radio would be best? And maybe even recommend a good kernel if there's a better one out?

Sorry man, really don't wanna be the **** but this has been asked like dozens of times in the VU thread. A quick search can find your answer.
But to answer your questions, stock panache radio is what evil recommended. And as for kernel, keep it stock. I don't understand why people go kernel happy. Stock kernel works the best. The VU team are dev geniuses, thus the stock kernel is very good.

Have to agree with whats just been said, also, the "best" radio/kernel for you might not be best for someone else. There really is no difinitive answer to your question.
