is there anyway to remove the bubble/transparent square behind each icon on the sense launcher? i read somewhere that a metamorph can be made, but i am not familiar with creating metamorph themes. is there any other way?
they are really taking away from my wallpapers haha
Easiest way is to get a different launcher like launcher pro or adw.

Any other way besides the androidian theme? I don't really like it besides that it removes the squares.

I just use Desktop Visualizer.
I will be making more themes that do not have teh bubblez =)
Androidian was just a taste. I am taking suggestions
Dark themes are always nice. Can icons be changed through themes?

yeah, I like the Androidian theme a lot (using it now) but I don't like the lime green colour, maybe a nice blue would be cool...?
robo over at the Espresso port for the Desire has created a bubble free theme that looks great ... I'm not quite sure if it will run on the original ROM though...
if you're gonna try to flash it please make sure you do a SYSTEM BACKUP just before flashing ...!
(please let me know if it works !)

Why don't you try it out and tell everybody else!
I don't see why it wouldn't...although maybe some issues with the size of some things?
I've tried, I flashed it but no changes?? It should work but doesn't.
Does anyone know where I can find nice themes which include dialler/pop-up and notification themes. I want a black background don't like the white.

Hey I know I've asked before about the Widgets but I'd like to see if anyone has tried to incorporate them into adw launcher? I have apw, which works well but its not the same.

The answer is the same as last time. Sense Widgets will only work with the sense launcher. They are built into one another. Same with all launcher dependent Widgets. But you can find good replacement Widgets in the market.

Thanks for the reply, but it doesn't make sense that some are dependant on the launcher while some are universal.
I'm assuming there has to be some way to port them over to work with different launchers. Whether someone has tried or not is my question.

Download Android Pro Widgets from the market. It's faster than Sense Widgets.

The issue is that launcher spicific Widgets need the proprietary framework files. With out the right framework files it doesn't work. The Widgets are coded to only work with the launcher they are made for. Look at launcher pro and its Widgets.
The person above me is right. Pro Widgets give you alot of the sense widget style and is a good substation

If anyone else would enjoy it I would love to see a new sidekick rom for the evo. Or maybe just the lockscreen. I personally know nothing about porting and compiling roms. Thanks in advance for any devs that read this and Fu** any trolls out there that don't like the idea

I think the only way to do it is for someone to make a sidekick theme. I don't think the ROM could be ported.

I really just like the lockscreen. The rest of the rom reminds me of a tweaked motoblur. And that's no bueno. But even just a theme or even a widget locker skin would be fine for me

Have you tried widget locker? It's a replacement lock screen app with tons of themes. It has it's own thread in the themes and apps section of Android development and hacking.
