Is there an app that does this? [LONG SHOT]

Hi
I have recently discovered Spotify Remote for Android and it got me wondering if there is a program that does the following?
I have an iPod Touch, which happily sits on my iPod dock connected to my wireless network, which my HTC Desire is also connected to.
Is there an app that can browse my iPod Touch library (on my Android) and control them via my phone, so that they play through the dock speaker and can be controlled from all around the house?
Thanks
Stu
PS My iPod touch is Jailbroken so if any unofficial software was needed, I could install it.
Well i'm using Windows and Gmote on my Desire. It works really well, i can play music files from my pc on my phone and on my pc (although playing on pc from phone closes gmote server on windows, but i really don't need it)... I think gmote also exists for MAC but bing it...
With gmote you can also control your pc with desire

Use the iTunes remote on the Android market. Your iPod will appear as a playlist and you can just play that with the library appearing on your Desire.

[Q] Can I use LG ENV3 (vx9200) as internet?

Hi, got my A7 running great!! Dexters mod (1.41) works wonders - it's a great computer now!!!
I was wondering if there is any way to tether my A7 to my Verizon VX9200 ENV3 phone so I can use the phone to get to internet?
I have got the bluetooth paired on both.
Is there an app for that???
Would be great.
If not, can I tether it to my laptop and use the internet connection from there? I have a Verizon USB internet dongle, and can share the internet that way.
I do have the A7 paired with the laptop bluetooth.
Is there an app for that also?
Thanks for the info.
PS...I have a bluetooth GPS receiver on the way ... Holux 1200e....Will let you know soon.

Alpine Deck support on Samsung Galaxy S2

Hi Guys,
I got a Alpine Deck (ida-x100) in my car and everytime I plug in the SGS2 it makes the USB Connect noise continutiously and doesn't detect, I had a HTC desire and the phone worked with no issues (just no library support) Does anyone know if there is a way to resolve this issue?
It would be awesome if you could emulate the iphone library environment and make it compatible with Android!
Hi man, you can buy the alpine 400 kce bt receiver for ida x100 (I've got it too) and connect ur phone with this; the results are very very nice...handfree call, music, vocal command ecc ecc
Thanks man, might consider it
How do you control music/audio? is it via the alpine deck or the phone UI?
Also - what do you use for voice control? vlingo?

I had this same problem (constant connection bleep and storage not found). Alpine Support said the phone is not compatible but this is incorrect. You need to connect the phone as a Mass Storage device, not as a phone.
To do this select Settings > Wireless and Network > USB Utilities > Connect Storage to PC. Then connect to the Apline headunit via USB and I think you have to select Connect again on your handset. You have to scroll down through the first menu on the headunit to Music and hey presto.
Whilst in mass storage mode I do not think the handset has any other functionality. Personally, I am just going to keep a large USB stick in the car so that I can use the phone for GPS and calls (safely, obviously!)
Worth bearing in mind the Alpine only works with MP3 AAC and WMA.

[Q] Connecting to Xbox?

Hey, I've been having trouble getting my s4 to connect to my Xbox360 through Wifi Direct, bluetooth, and file sharing. All I want to do is play my music through my xbox without connecting my phone to the xbox. I even tried to do it with the phone connected and it will see all the files but not play them. Help? Or will it never work?
I use imediashare and it works fine. I remember for xbox glass to work both the box and phone had to be wireless on the same router to work maybe try that

[Q] USB to ethernet disables cast receiver for plex?

I had a poke around in here and couldn't find anything conclusive...
I just plugged a usb to ethernet adaptor into my Nexus Player and have found that when i attempt to cast from a video from plex from my iphone it doesn't do anything.
Plex detects the casting receiver on the Nexus player but the casting appears to just not make it to the player.
Has anyone had this issue before? More importantly does anyone have a way of resolving the issue?
Hey natedogg118,
I did the exact same thing : I wired my Nexus Player this morning and now I can't seem to be able to cast anything to it. Did you find anything ?
Cheers,
No such issue here, using mine with an usb-ethernet adapter and I can cast from phone, tablet, desktop, chromebook and chrome on a thinkpad running ubuntu. Are your wired and wireless networks in the same subnet, any kind of firewall between them?
