recover problem

i have updated my desire HD recovery to v3.0.0.1
because i need to out cyanogen7
and i found i can,t make any change through recovery v3
and i have read that amon ra is bitter so i tried to flash it
thin the recovery list mod was Disappeared and the screen freezes on htc screen for long time but my phone is working well
please any help to get back my recovery list

I didnt know amon-ra made a recovery for the DHD, sure you didnt flash one for the desire?

i have used Rom manger and when i pressed flash clockwork mod recovery
it give this message
error while downloading from server please...etc
even when i am pressing all clockwork mod recovery
it give me this
no legacy recoveries found are you connected to the net
clearly i am connected to WiFi or data connection ???????

Try uninstallin rom manager then reinstall

You can follow leith51's radio flashing guide in the android development subforum (sticky). Or as previously stated, you can wait until Rom manager works again.
Use this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/18138289/recovery-clockwork-3.0.0.6-ace.img in step 5, you can rename that file for convenience (to for example recovery.img).
Then in step 8, use command: "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"

Where did you get Amon RA? I have not seen that for Desire HD, are you sure that you are trying to flash a proper recovery??
Radio S-OFF is not ENG S-OFF, please verify your device's state by going to bootloader. Check the first line, it should read ACE PVT ENG S-OFF if you indeed have ENG S-OFF.

Download the clockworkmod I linked.

One question... If i have a cwm 3.x backup from a Rom and i am now on a other rom e.p. from revohd to lee and now i want to recover my revo backup is this possible or did i need a wipe or anything else befor? Greets

Stuck on Android logo

I was downgrading from 2.3.5 cyan7.1 to stock 2.1
using dudeman's method
This is just stock 2.1 that you flash using the KDZ updater, if you're here to revert back to 2.1 from another ROM, then you've already used the KDZ updater to install fastboot. To install back to 2.1 you simply put the phone in download mode by holding the Volume down button and powering on the phone. The screen will turn on and display Download Mode, then you change PhoneMode in the KDZ Updater to CS_EMERGENCY, select the downloaded KDZ and start the update! Simple right?
And it said it was done. But when i checked
my phone was stuck in the android logo and
nothing works. (fastboot, recovery and hard reset)
I can't get a warranty because i rooted my phone.
But my phone is still 2.1 stock.
So anyone got any solutions.

P.S. Only download mode works!!

You have to flash a fastboot ROM again in KDZ. Also, if your phone gets stuck at android screen, go into fastboot and do fastboot -w at a prompt.

It will delete all userdata

Also another weird thing is i am optus.
And i downloaded the australian version of KDW file
and when my phone starts up it says Vodafone.
Does any have clear instructions on what i can do??

You have flash Vodafone Austrailia's branded software. If you flashed the fastboot ROM, you can replace the software with Gingerbread and Froyo ROMs. Which are full unbranded.

i am sure i downloaded the Non vodafone version.
Also today i flashedto 2.3.5 using fastboot.
So all is well.

Short answer: No

I brought mine on 2 degrees swaped kdz rom etc i use my vodafone sim and got rid of 2 degrees but maybe thats just nz

Do you have fastboot or a Clockwork Recoverymod? You could use fastboot or recovery to flash ROMs. To enter fastboot, hold the camera button while you turn you phone on. If you get a black screen, then you have fastboot. You need drivers for fastboot to work, so be careful. You'll also need the fastboot files. You can just flash a ROM by entering "fastboot flash <partition> <ROM name>" (replace the names in the brackets with the expected titles).

[Q] Mytouch Wont boot, stuck at FASTBOOT, No Recovery

Hi Guys,
I have a MyTouch 3G that I haven't used in a while but need to use next weekend but it is deeply messed up.
When I boot it, it is stuck at the first Splash Screen that says "HTC Magic" and doesn't boot into recovery if I tell it to. I have tried to flash a Recovery in Fastboot and it did not work, same with SAPPIMG.nbh, it says update failed. Any help is aprrciated!
Also I'm not sure if it is 32A or B, it has the audio jack, but in FASTBOOT, it says 32B.

It should say 32a in the device info that's ypur first prob here is what u do u have a magic 1.2 know that well
Use fastboot to flash amon ra recovery 1.70g AFTER flash ezterrys modded 1.33.30d or something like that spl (google it) then afer exit fastboot mode and boot into recovery and flash new rom

[Q] trying to go back to original rom, but can't find any working method.

I'm looking for a way to get my phone back to a stock state, I don't care if it's unrooted in the process, I just want a fresh OTA capable stock rom. I have a couple PD15 images, and they flash in the boot loader, however, after trying to boot, it just stays stuck at the mytouch startup screen.
I'm looking at the tutorials found here, but none seem to be working. What exactly do I need to do?

My issue is, is i want the official HTC kernel that comes with the latest stock rom. I cant find it to flash anywhere. So I'm trying to just go back to the regular rom, probably selling this phone soon anyway.

are yuo trying to flash a gingerbread stock or a froyo stock rom? which PD15IMG.zip files are you using? did you download the stock rom yourself and then rename it to PD15IMG.zip? are you sure your using the correct radio version .img as well? if all that is correct and youre still having trouble then you could try flashing the stock rom via fastboot mode
rename the rom to StockRom.zip (spelled exactly) then connect your phone in fastboot mode, then in the terminal enter fastboot oem rebootRUU it should then reboot into a black screen with a silver htc logo on it
make sure your StockRom.zip is in the same directory as your fastboot executable and run fastboot flash zip StockRom.zip
if it doesnt finish flashing or tells you to repeat the flash just re enter the command and it will work. then fastboot reboot.

I was doing all of the above, except checking the radio version and the fastboot oem rebootRUU! That could be it, thanks for that. I'll check it out and report back when I get some time.

So i tried the rebootRUU method, and still nothing (it says it works fine but will just hang at the white mytouch screen). I'm on HBOOT 0.89.0007 and RADIO 26.13.04.19_M
I'm trying to flash both the 2.3.4 before and the latest updated 2.3.4 stock rom.
Wish i could figure this out! Any ideas?

try to flash the stock froyo rom first.
http://d-h.st/ytv59wps2wzc heres a link to the PD15IMG.zip make sure the spelling is exactly like that all upper case except for the file extention .zip. and make sure its on the root of your sd card when you reboot into bootloader. the file shoild be about 312megs in size.

Tried, still stuck at the splash screen. I used HTCDev unlock originally with this phone, does that mean I also have to manually flash the boot.img from these zip's as well?
I'm obviously missing some step.

Tow days ago i want to update my "HTC Mytouch 4g (Glacier)" i downloaded the stuck rom android jelly been 4.1 and then i firstly unlocked bootloader from Htc Dev site and then write clockwork recovery 5.8 touch after that i past the rom and gpps files to the memory card and then came in to recovery wipe factory and then install that zip and gpps and then reboot it after that my "HTC Mytouch 4g (Glacier)" held at HTC Mytouch 4g logo i tried manay other custum roms but the result is same i am stuck at logo anyone can help me what can i do i realy thankful for this....

If you unlocked the bootloader with HTC Dev instead of going full S=off, you need to go through the extra step every time you flash a ROM of flashing the boot.img from that ROM separately.
So after flashing with CWM, you need to reboot to the bootloader, pull the boot.img off of the zip file and place it into the same folder on your computer as adb/fastboot, then run "fastboot flash boot boot.img" with the usb cable connected. Kind of a pain, which is why most people don't recommend doing the HTC Dev unlock method.
