problem with x8gesture on 2.1.1.A.0.6

i installed x8gesture module v004 following the instructions from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1004740 (using update.zip) but it doesnt work, i tried with multitouch visualizer 2, opera, maps and nothing happens...
i have an e15a 2.1.1.a.0.6, can anyone help me plz

Did you flash to the latest baseband version xxx15?
If not flash your X8.. instructions is here..

I have the xx15 baseband.. its still not work.
so in stock rom, where did u find its working.
it fail on dmesg | grep X8Gesture.
fail on multitouch visual, maps, galery, browser, angry bird.

i have e15a 2.1.1.a.0.6 baseband xx15

It doesn't work in stock browser but will work on opera/angry birds etc. I'm talking about stock rom. This is not real multitouch, it's fake, so you have to do it like in the video put one finger and then the second and it will work, also you should put the second finger oposed to the first and not in a straight line.

It works every where if you install it....
Stock browser just dont support pinch zoom.
(Try also to active it while you are opening the notificarions, and see what fanny thing happends.)

i tried with minicm rc2 who also comes with dualtouch enabled, but it doesnt work... maybe is a problem with my phone hardware...
anyway, i will try racht's rom

does it come with real dual touch i.e can i use it in games ?!!

no, it's a fake dualtouch, only for zoom

I give up, tried racht's rom, jerpelea's rom and ponanovn minicm who are supposed to have preinstalled the module and... it doesn't work!! , tried also with the new version of the module by andrej456 (manual installation on my stock SE rom E15A 2.1.1.A.0.6 baseband xx15) and nothing happens...
a shame.. im thinking that is a hardware related problem, i bought my phone on march, maybe it has diferent hardware :S (i really dont know about that kind of things...)

Same tried every rom going and each and every module. Auto install, manual install, even tried a friends xrecovery backup. E15i bought in March 2011 Must be hardware....

Someone could link me stock kernel for the x 8? I didn't find it !! If i restore the x8 it with sony ericsson tool will bel flashe also the kernel ?

Yup, SEUS restores original kernel too. (Kernel is still "just some files" like roms)

SEUS is still working with x8, the catch is that you can't download it fron SE's X8 site, so download it from another phone's SE page (x8 will be in SEUS' list, so don't worry.)

[Q] My x8 became multitouch after updating. How that can happens?

Hi everyone, i just wanted to share something.... strange! I had problem with my x8, that i couldn't update it (after many many times that i used to updated it with any rom), and as my phone wasn't good, i decided to mix two roms that i had (not mine of course), so i took some files from the "a" rom and some files from "b" rom and i compressed it. My x8 didn't aborted the installation, and a new rom was born :victory:
This rom, is great for me, credits of course doesn't go to me because i didn't create a rom just i took existing files. I can play games that i couldn't play on 4.04!! for example. The only that doensn't hav is notisfication bar.
BUT after that, my phone is MULTITOUCH!!! I can play games without "Force Close" anymore!!!!

Yes, we all know about that. Developers did that. Now some X8's have real Dual Touch some have Fake Dual Touch which is Pinch to zoom nothing else.
I presume you have Cypress since you are new here and you recently bought your phone.

you achieved nothing in that... multitouch is already available for X8 and you copied the multitouch module of one rom to another so it is working...nothing to be proud of but you soft modded a rom.. just download the existing BETTER roms

The WLODs can be greatly reduced if you flash the CM10.1 kernel.

has anyone found that the signal display is incorrect? even the signal is good but the icon in status bar always low

I found that the WLODs decreased a lot after I disabled seeder.
Edit: Not a single WLOD after 12 hours

I am an absolute newbie in rooting and installing custom rom.I am afraid I may brick my phone if I don't do it perfectly.Can you link me to somewhere where I can learn to start from the scratch and root my phone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.I have an xperia x10i

"Sony Mobile Flasher By Androxyde (flashtool-0.9.13.0-windows.exe)" This is what i use to root the phone its easy search around in this forums u will find video and notes.
EDIT:
I Just used this AOSP JB 4.2.2 ROM for my Xperia x10i and its fun, but after the flashing part its asking for drivers all the flash tool is asking for drivers all time it cant be found.

This is really weird i have two computers one has xp pro and another has win 8.1 Pro,
My Flash tool has been giving me problems and didn't recognize my device at all in normal mode in WinXP Pro
But for a change i tried on Win8.1 and it works perfectly this is after i rooted and got custom ROM AOSP 4.2.2 been looking all day to get the drivers for Windows XP Pro still shows cant recognize my device but different story something that i didnt expect to work in Win8.1Pro :victory::laugh:

this rom has started to act up and has no support or respond dont use it even am trying to go back to Stock now
