Help Downloading ROM to MyTouch 3G

Hello,
I just got a MyTouch to play with. I would like to install the MightyMax 1.9.1 Hero3G ROM.
I have searches this forum for about two days now, would someone please tell me how to do it step by step. I have tried running "adb" from the Android SDK and other stuff I read on SPL's.

help with rooting sprints hero

I need help with rooting my hero I have the newest software out for it (1.56). I'm really confused on how to do this . Some say use the sdk others say use flipz kitchen. I would also like to use the 2.1 Rom. Could someone plz tell me what to do. What's the best way to do this. Where can I find the 2.1 Rom. There's so many things you can do to the hero like having the nexus boot screen. So please someone help me

Yea I looked at a lot of them which way is the best and I have not seen anything about loading roms. How do I know which one to use since I 1.56 the newest software version. Tried flipz and the sdk on. Vista but it does not work on vista.

My first post, please be gentle!
I've searched but can't find how to flash my HD2.
If i flash will I lose my warranty with t mobile? (got it on t-mobile upgrade) If so is there a way of getting old rom back on there without them knowing i did anything? Is the t mobile rom openly available?
Whats the advantage with flashing?
Will I lose all settings when I flash? Cos it took be ages to tweek it!
I have 1.43.110.2 Rom version

as mentioned that is the tutorial I used. I got my hd2 on t-mobile upgrade too.
lots of benefits (read about them on peoples ROMs)
and I am pretty sure it voids your warranty BUT there is a 1.4 t-mobile stock ROM floating about on here so you can always restore it if you needed to.

Don't know why I couldn't find all that info when i searched, excellent and very well done. I'mthinking of flashing it when I have problems with the stock ROM but as it is I'm pretty happy with it unles someone can recommend a ROM i can't resist!
I read about backing up stock ROM just in case I needed to send HD2 bak to t-mob in future. How do you back it up, same way as data in the tutorial?

Cricket MMS issue on 2.2 Roms

I know everybody knows MMS isn't working on Froyo 2.2 roms. Im starting this thread so people can discuss this issue further and maybe we can help each other figure out this problem. I am currently on Cricket network with a Droid Eris flashed with 2.1 Sense rom. I have been flashing new Froyo ROMS over and over trying to figure out the MMS issue with no luck. I used this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=3015 and was able to fix MMS partially. I was able to receive MMS's but couldnt send them. Any feedback or suggestions would be great.

Looking for Instructions on going from Froyo 2.2 to Eclair 2.1 on VM Intercept
I purchased this VM Intercept thats on Froyo 2.2 - its used. When i push ##VIRGIN# to try to register my # it doesnt work. I think since its a SPRINT ROM it doesnt have that built in.
Can anyone help me please - ive been trying to research but I cant figure it out.
Ive found the following files that might help me:
System_virginmobile.tar
inxane0381intercept.zip
StockROM.VirginMobile.zip
Im not sure if this is what I need. If anyone else had this problem please advise me.!
