Just got my XOOM MZ616 yesterday and flashed SEART to AURET. And here is image of ICS 4.0.4 update for Australia Retail XOOM 2.

My Singapore Retail MZ616 also not receiving ICS update ...
Currently I'm using 77.1.128.en.EU 4.0.4 ICS. So far so good

Since I am not familiar with Motorola flashing etc etc...
These updates I suppose can be flashed with the RSDlite (5.6.4 I think is the latest), correct?
If I am correct, is there any specific option/procedure in the flashing utility that I must pay attention to? Or I am just locating the update and hitting the START button?

Hi
You should't use rsd tool for this, it's only for bootloader update if i'm not wrong
There's a thread about the process to follow, in developpement area, you must copy the update file in /cache partition and open it with rom manager, the trick is done
But this is only for 3g version don't forget

hmmmm.... tried to install the EU update (268.16.MZ616.EU). Failed miserably...
I got the Yellow Triangle... and rebooted to Honey. The log said "Signature Verification Failed"... I guess...either the update zip is corrupt, unsigned, or my system expects to see a different update version than the one I tried to flash...
Anyway, I 'm going to do a little more research on that...

What's you phone system version? I have no issue installing on my MZ616.

But... I am suspecting (at least from what I studied yesterday, after the fail) that it may be due to the fact, that I have deleted some APKs... Not Honeycomb APKs, but Bloatware for magazines etc... If this is the reason that I am failing... then "Houston, we have a problem"

These are the core apps checked by the updater... when you remove bloat you should always keep a safefall backup. If you manage to find an older OTA package you can always manual copy the missing files.

Well... my bad. I did not keep a copy of those apk's but fortunately a friend has his system untouched, so I will be reinstalling them from his Xoom.
I will check also against the list you provided.

Hi.
I too have this xoom. But i make full wipe and nothing delete from system.
And have this problem. After reboot, when i install update, write "Signature Verification Failed"

Do you get the error immediately? In that case check your build.prop for this voice:

is it exactly the same? Otherwise you can't update.
If the error is not immediate you could have an error on some apk OR you have installed something external onto system. Anti-theft antivirus addon for istance...

these three lines in the bottom of build prop
and also given my rom info on that page
but when i tried the ota updater app on my device it gave me this error
Error fetching update info: Invalid ROM (romid101374) & device (gt-s5360) combo!
Can some one help me i have searched the faq also none helped me out

As far as I know..it's a buy of ota updater only..shows the same error for me too..in Hyperion n sgy..someone said it's a bug..

Ya think so because i found on may websites that it is paid service and if you want ota updates support for your rom then you can try to contact owner of rom tool box its jrummmy i think i asked for his help and he made my rom support ota updates but only with rom toll box app but thats fine for me.

OTA is totally free! I have used it in my sgyd roms and it works perfectly! Hyperion dev made some mistake in it. There is no bug

Trouble flashing CM11 M2 to i9500

I know where to get the CM ROMs since I have flashed a device once before (the i9300) and was able to use it without any issues after the rooting and flashing process, but I have a weird issue...
I have the latest CWM installed (via terminal app command to install the .img) as well as the unofficial CM11 installed (found on these forums, thanks!) BUT...
I go to the downloads for the jfltexx (says international version, which is correct since I have the i9500) but when I use it with CWM it stops the flashing process because of something similar to it being the wrong version (think it said Verison's? i9505 or something like that).
I am really confused right now, and yes, I have the correct CWM installed for i9500 as well for my device for my device otherwise this unofficial i9500 ROM wouldnt of been able to be installed, I guess.
The reason I would like the M2 is because this unofficial version seemingly doesn't have the OTA update function seemingly to work (for anything, even nightlies, and yes I have internet cause I was able to go on any website. I have tried all the options, even the refresh button, no luck), not sure if M2 has the function working, but its worth a shot or if one of you guys could let me know if the OTA update feature is working.
If you guys could let me know whats going on, that would be great! I also want to know what is going wrong because when and if CM 11 becomes official, I fear I might run into the same issue...

That's actually where I got the current unofficial ROM I am running.

Just got more info since I tried it again, here is CWM's output when trying to flash:

http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=jfltexx&type=snapshot it says its for a Samsung Galaxy S4 (intl) device (aka the i9500, which I confirmed in the settings) so I am confused. I tried out other builds other then the M2 and same error.
**EDIT** Also, I looked this up: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Unofficial_Ports#Samsung_Galaxy_S4_.28GT-I9500.29 apparently there is a international LTE version, I think that's the issue. Mine is just international without LTE. Oh well, this solved my issue. I just have to wait to see if and when this becomes official or keep my eye on the thread that @ice.modding mentioned. Thanks all for helping anyways!

[Q] Problem Updating From 10.1.2 -10.1.3

Hi. I am fairly new to this so the help is appreciated. I have been trying to upgrade my s3 R530 past 10.1.2 but the installation keeps getting aborted. It says something along the lines of: error: get prop boot loader. I know this isn't much to go off of so I will upload some info below. I have researched this problem and have hit a dead end. A friend of mine suggested that I flash back to the stock ROM and update my phone through us cellular. He thinks that there might be an update for the bootloader. The only thing is... I can't find a downloadable stock ROM. I am open to any ideas at this point. I will try the update again so I can provide more info on the error. Thanks!

I thought, this method runs on every stock from 4.3. I have the following: I9505XXUENAA_I9505YBTENB2_I9505XXUENAA_HOME.tar
Does someone knows a link with a newer version for my firmware? Or could the developer write it for this firmware? All the olders firmware from 4.3 also are supported.
Because I am a newbie, I cant post directly in the thread.

I think the link you mentioned is showing the latest version of the saferoot script.
I used it last week for my: JSS15J.I9505XXUEMKF and it worked perfectly.
I first installed Samsung Kies version 3 and the I used the youtube link in post #1 to check what to do.
Some steps showed different, but eventually, with a good result.
I am not sure if your version of the firmware is any different than mine. I hope you will get it to work.

Thanks, my version is different. You have firmware ...MKF, I have the latest ...NAA.
Both of them are Android 4.3, but the version has little updates, like missing 3g after deep standby, and so on.
I think the script is still not optimized for ...NAA.
