Samsung really need to fix the battery icon. According to 3 apps I have used it showing me I have currently 40% while the default says about 70%. Samsung please fix this

Little late on the draw man, known issues since day 1.
Now getting it fixed is a different story. Maybe 2.2.1....

Battery percent app

I'm having trouble finding a battery percent display app that accurately reports my battery. I was using my phone off the charger for three and a half hours this morning and my app claimed 100%. It seems really inaccurate.
What have you guys been using or what kid of results are you getting?

I use Battery Widget (http://www.appbrain.com/app/battery-widget/com.BeetelRockBattery); it has the nice feature of showing a full list of which apps have been using up your battery when you touch it.
I got myself BattStat like it a lot

Battery I dunno, some people seem to conclude the batterylife is bad within an hour after flashing For me, just about all roms are pretty similar in battery, getting me through 1 day with ease, and not getting through a 2nd day Thats fine with me really since I charge at night.
Available RAM is indeed pretty low in 2.3.3; starting off at about 115 but quickly dropping to 70ish when actually doing stuff. And this is with a pretty conservative amount of installed apps. *misses cm7 for available ram*
I prefer 2.2.1 task manager as got option to clean level 1 or 2. Thats gone lol any one else notice barcode scanner

I'd say it's similar to the other gingerbread leaks. Nothing as great as SRF 1.2 for battery life yet that I have come across.

Did you restore data? I have used it all day and have not had one force close. Try to Odin again and if you restored data do it without restoring data.
RE: force closes, usually it means you restored apps or data that need to be reinstalled. If an app FCs, uninstall and reinstall it.
RE: battery life.
You can't make a judgement until you run a calibrate cycle and go through at least one charge cycle. Usually the first battery cycle on a new rom seems like really battery life, then things improve quickly. Since the rom has only been leaked for about 18 hours now I don't think anyone can give a useful opinion on battery life.

I flashed it at around 10am this morning, and with some pretty good, but not heavy use, I made it to about 6pm. When flashing this morning, I was around 92%. So yes, battery life is pretty good. Nothing will beat SRF, but now that I've tasted the gingerbread, I'm not sure I can go back to Froyo.
*Edit* Since being off the charger for 4 hours, and surfing the internet on both 3g and 4g, chatting on gtalk, multiple text messages, I'm at 76%. I'm impressed.

Stock atrix battery life sucks!

I can't see how this is one of the biggest batteries out yet after a full nights charge and barely using the phone it needs to be charged again by the middle of the day! I'm tempted to put my sim card back in my iphone... If any one has suggestions I'm all ears.
Oh and I've tried to follow steps to root/unlock etc. but I get errors from the rsnlite 5.3.? installer that it can't install.

Dude, there are like three complete threads here with solutions to battery problems. Why did you create another one?
Two of them are in the very same section where you created this thread.
Solution to your battery life woes can be had by putting your sim back inyour iphone. The atrix and instructions to use this forum seem to be above your level of using technology. Btw, my battery life has been awesome.

If you aren't comfortable flashing a new rom and/or freezing system apps, give the "2x battery" app a try. It certainly is an improvement to the stock battery life.
I really want to flash one but the program I need to install on my cpu won't install... I keep getting error msgs and no one has been able to give me a solution why yet.
I used to have an htc fuze and flashed roms almost daily so I have the knowledge but my machine isn't cooperating with the needed download to unlock.
Ill try the 2x battery, thank you for the help.

Could not disagree more. On my stock Atrix, I was getting just over 2 days usage (not just leaving the phone on the table) pretty consistently. Rooted and GB rom now, am getting a day and a half but am probably just getting the battery and rom used to each other lol

Battery question

This has probably been asked a million times but I have searched for an hour and cant seem to find exactly what I am looking for. I reset my battery stats because my battery life has been horrible the last week. My phone now says fully charged but the meter only shows 92. Should I let it die completely and recharge completely and then it will be fixed or will it just do the same thing? I am on ICS passion 10.6 if that makes a differnece. Ill be getting a slim 220o mah battery next week but this is still annoying me. I work 10+ hours a day and text my wife a lot and im only getting 13 hrs on the battery. About 100 texts, 30 min of web and I get auto updates via craigslist notification. GPS and wi-fi are off and my sync settings are for 1 time per day. Thanks all!
13 hours is pretty good. also, read this: https://plus.google.com/u/0/105051985738280261832/posts/FV3LVtdVxPT
