Every time I try and use something that uses voice I keep getting an audio problem error. If anyone could help me with this that would be great.
Are you running stock or using a custom ROM/kernel? Are you de-binged? Did you remove bloat?
The more info you provide, the better the chance someone can help you out.

I'm running a debinged version of the Stock DJ05 rom posted with one of geeknik's stupidfast non voodoo kernals.
Did you install the enhanced google search apk after debinging? The stock rom uses bing voice search, so if you didn't replace bing with google search, that could be your problem.

Hi everyone. I have a little but frustrating Problem with my galaxy. My phone came with some preinstalled apps like adiko ebook,layar, google maps...
To keep them updated I reinstalled them using the market. They were all recognized (a message warned me that the market version would subsitute the preinstalled one), but google voice search. Now I have two separate voice search installations running. One is version 1.4.0 and the other is 1.4.6 (it's fiom the market). Is there a way to resolve this issue? Thanks.

just uninstall the one that you don't want
or uninstall both, then only install the version that you want
some ROM apps, can only be removed after you Root the phone
I think that this is the case, cause I can remore only the one I installed from the market. The preinstalled one it's not even listed in apps management.

The Google Navigation consequently gets stuck at the "getting driving directions" screen. I am able to use Google Maps perfectly, without any data or GPS disruptions. I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall the Google Navigation program but the problem remains. Any help will be greatly appreciated! [please excuse my poor writing skills.]
They released a new version of viper rom a few days ago and this issue is fixed. Give it a try, it works great.

Ok. 2 topics here.. both dealing with liberty 2.0.1 gb. 1st in settings/accounts, I cannot add anything. It opens and closes whenever I click on accounts. Tried to uninstall and reinstall Facebook and twitter, no luck. Any ideas? Next, I've tried from liberty toolbox, 3 times, to install v.03 and it downloads, goes through the install, says successful but upon reboot, it still says v.01. Any ideas on either would be great. Thanks.

The account problem is a known issue. Jrummy is aware of this.
As for the .3 saying ".1", he just forgot to change the build.prop. You do in fact have .3.
If you have any other questions about anything to do with Liberty, you should head over to droidforums.net and there is a whole section dedicated to Liberty ROM. Lots of people with the same questions/concerns are there and you can get lots of answers and great info.

Also I have both the speech and conversation mode on in the settings. And make sure you have pico tts installed. The app itself is not that accurate. I like "voice actions infinity" a lot better.

Yea I think there is something wrong then. Because I downloaded other apps like Vlingo and Voice Search and again, the program understands me but when it speaks back to me, I can't hear anything. My media volume is turned up. Do I have to add something to my phone? This is so frustrating.

Ok...go to your phone settings--voice input and output--text to speech settings--default engine--pico tts. Let me know how it goes please.

Yea I went there and I selected Pico but it dosen't do anything. I even tried downloading espeak tts and when I go to select that engine it force closes. It seems like I either have something disabled or I'm missing something that won't allow me to use tts. By the way, Im able to hear fine while using a navigation program, its just anything else, I'm having problems.

i think navigation is different since it's not actually reading anything to you from a text. are you running a costume rom or r u stock? have you tried restarting your phone after enabling the tts?
Im using the epic revolution fat free rom too by the way. I just sent a pm to the developer asking him was there something excluded from the rom that is not allowing me to hear from these programs. Hopefully he gets back to me as soon as possible.

I was just about to suggest contacting the developer. As long as you have tts enabled you should be good to go. It looks like an issue with the way your phone or rom is handling its text to speech engine. post his reply here because im sure others would like to know also (if in fact its a problem the rom). I wish i could be of any more help bro.

Mine was not working either for about one minute..till i went to download that app they pretty much shove down your mouth when u first open the app. It may seem like it doesnt install..even the comments beneath will say it doesnt install...but it does..just on your sd card. It will create a folder. Go back in the app and Iris is working like a charm!!
I cant seem to get the cards fro, google now as often as i see them on other devices for example when askimg for the cast of a show. I have the newest version i could find dated 8/19. I kmow there was another update but, that aside i am sure that i should be getting more readout. Maybe i have to give it time to do its google thing but i am wondering i anyone knows a fix or a better version to flash. I am currently on the m7.

What kernel/Rom are you using? Im unfamiliar with "M7".
I had problems with this as well, what I did to increase the card count was to enable my GPS, and allow google to sync up my search history.
M7 as in the mikey 7 Google now zip that I used. Aside from the cards I also cannot play music by song name. Only band name. Not sure what that's about. I am on a stock deodexed Rom from romswell for the p3113
