The nexus s is my first android phone and I was having some trouble with the home button. When I first got the phone the home button took me to the home screen but now it takes me to this screen where I see the time and weather ands music, clock, and a home button and I was wondering what I did to change it and how to undo it? Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if the collective genius at XDA could help me out with a small question.
I'm using a Diamond with titanium, and when I press the 'home' key, it successfully brings me to the home screen. What it does not do is bring me to the 'clock' panel. By default, titanium reverts to the last panel you were viewing. Perhaps I was tainted by Manila, but I'm now used to pressing 'home' and seeing the time. I know i can always see the time in the taskbar, but humour me please. My question is:
Is there any way to make the home button send me directly to the 'clock' panel in Titanium?
(OR - - have titanium refresh to the clock panel instead of remembering where you last were)
Thanks in advance all!
on my device (Titan) pressing the End Call takes me to the Clock plugin and centers it on screen. Have you tried pressing the home button twice or pressing the end call button after pressing the home key.
Default Panel
Did you ever get an answer to this? I too am trying to figure out how to create a default panel. Not being able to have Titanium revert to a specific panel after a set period of time is the only issue I have. If you find a way to do this please share it with me.

Click to collapse
This also works on the AT&T Fuze.. Hitting the "End Call" take me back to the clock.
Thanks. I was hoping to be able to find a tweak or something to have it done automatically.
End Call Key - Titanium clock panel
I am also looking for a registry tweak which takes me to the Clock Panel with a short press of the End Call Key. Some cooked WM6.5 Titanium roms have it and some do not. Thanks
I'm on the market place and I'm downloading something, its not downloading direct so I want to do something different. Do I need to press the back button to go back to the home screen or do I press the home button? what is the difference?

Hello everyone,
I have a HTC desire and I have messed around with all the settings but no matter what I do the home hard button always bypasses widget locker and goes straight to the home screen. Is there any way of allowing the home button to just wake the screen and not return home.

please any help would be great
Go to your widgetlocker setting>Buttons & Inputs>Alow Home Button, Untick it...
Since 2 days now i have a big issue with my home button. usually when i was pressing it. it was going to my home screen. Now, i get a new page that only show me the clock, meteo and a few apps that are useless on the bottom of the screen. I never asked my phone to change it and i can't find the settings to revert it back to normal. Anyone knows how to fix it ? i dont want to re-install the hole thing.
Thanks !
What launcher do you use? Stock firmware? Rom?
Must be another Launcher installed...
TWLauncher will bring you to Homescreen 1
screenshot would help? are you on a custom rom or launcher?
Just to debunk the obvious: With TW launcher your home screen is the first one, the one to the far left. However, when you exit an app with the Home button, it simply takes you to the last screen you were on. So if you set i.e. the middle screen as your "home" and kept using it thinking it was your actual home screen, you may have thought that the Home button was taking you back to your "home screen," and now you may have noticed that pressing the Home button while you're not in an app takes you to the one to the far left instead.
I don't think you're an idiot, but just for the record.
I just had the same thing happne to me as well. It was alsco discussed in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1116748&highlight=home
After turning the phone off and on its back to normal. No idea how it happned
Can anyone help me here?
Is it possible to use the home button to sleep the display when on lock screen?
I want to be able to hit the home button to wake to view notifications then want to be able to just hit the home button again, while still on the lock screen, and the display to sleep.
Sure, ill have to look into it...but it will require editing the key layout I believe...and this may/may not also affect the way the home button works when not asleep...I'm sure an actual dev will have a better insight than me
