OK here is the problem i'm having last night i tried to upload a video to my account from my phone running stock android 2.2 the video was shot in 720x420 mp3 5mins long at 134mb in size when ever i try to upload it the video to youtube the app would tell me i can't upload anything over 1gig i'm like i know that but the video is 134mb not 1gig. So i took the memory card out and put it on my pc it reads the video at 134mb so when i try to upload from the pc it worked with no problem. Is there something wrong with the youtube app on my phone can it not do basic math?

I recorded a movie with hd2 in mpg4 format.
And i wanted to put in on youtube, but there is a problem.
Movie recording in 60fps which makes a problem on YT uploading.
Tried to convert it to other format but most converting software speed up movie (possibly dropping frames as need to be a 25fps)
Any way to change FPS in registry for this format? Or change some option to record in 25FPS but still in mpeg4 format??
only i have hd2 in this forum?
last bump
have mercy
thanx for help
How did you get it to record 60fps?
I don't have that option on mine.
i belive its an auto option without setting switch.
If you check it with some editing software i says 60fps.
Youtube dont let u upload that format.
And thats why im lookin for a registry hack.
Sounds more like you have a corrupt file than an issue with settings as it isn't automatic. Mine is standard and reports between 13 and 29.99 frames a second...
Corruption is not possible, all my videos are recorded in this format
Hey all
Took some video the other day. Was having trouble with my droid saving it. Kept showing that the recorded time was 0 while i was "recording"
Finally got it to record correctly after rebooting, and saved it.
but now when i go to watch them, the video player will say the files are damaged. but i can bring them up on a PC and they play fine.
I did edit the stagefright for HTTP Media, could that be an issue. I thought I read that was fixed though, and only applied if you turned ALL of stagefright on. I just wanted the streaming video part.
Any ideas?
The files play back fine right after I take them, but them 20 minutes later "files are damaged and cannot be played"
Tried a few apps too (mixzing, video player, and from the gallery)
however i CAN play the "video message" sized one I took the same day fine.. just looks like crap
Hello .I have a problem with my phone when watching videos from sdcard.(.flv)Sound ok but video freezing and delaying.I tried almost all 'player' apks.If i watch a hd video from youtube everything is ok. (Adobe flash player 10,1 installed)
Flashplayer 10.1 doesn't work for our phone...
10,2 and 10,3 did not installed.Gives an error
Our phone can't play flv files with ease.. I've tried every potential app from market but faced the same as yours..
Sent from the 3rd Galaxy !
What ROM are you using? If It's a custom ROM it probably has sdcardspeedreadingfix which has a bug that causes struttering on videos. You could try this:
1. Download SD speed boost
2. Open it
- If "current value" is at 128, you do not have sdcard speed fix enabled, and this isn't the reason why flv videos lag for you.
- If it is at anything else eg. 2048 (default) then it is enabled. Move the slider to the minimum value, which is at 128
Now you said that you have no lag in other videos so this probably isn't it but you could give it a shot.
If it worked, give thanks to the guy who uploaded the apk for sd card speed boost
I 've install the apk. Selected value 128
current value 128.
Then It's not that. Probably It's just that our phone can't play flv:s well, as we have no support for flash player.
You could convert your flv videos to some other format.
