Afer installation recovery CWM i am in 3e. What to do to change this situation.

Hi there, I'm new to SGS and i'm trying to flash my sgs with darky's rom, but it requires 2.1OS, but mine already in 2.2froyo and the recovery mode is 3e not 2e, anyone there can teach me how to make the mode into 2e? Thanksssss.

Hope you can help me with this little issue of me not being able to either flash or boot into clockworkmod recovery.
I have attempted to fastboot boot and fastboot flash my Nexus 7 into clockworkmod but all it does is restart and then boots up normally into Android.
Any ideas on how I can fix this? I have even reverted all the way back to stock with the use of the recovery images from google - with not luck
As the title says, GooMananger appears to download and notifies "recovery successfully installed!" but on reboot recovery, its still RA-Iconia-3.17. I've done the same process more than 5 times with the same result.
I have tried to install the image via fastboot, but on reboot, again, its RA recovery.
Can anyone lend a hand?

So i managed to fix my previous error. Now I'm at the end almost. I'm installing CynagenMod 13 on my N9005. I installed ClockworkMod Recovery, I think. I say I think because when i try to boot into it I get the below message.
"Recovery Booting"
"Set Recovery Bit : recovery"
Then it goes black and vibrates twice and boots normally.
I have the CynagenMod in a zip on my SD and the guide i am following refers to the ClockworkMod Recovery menu. The normal Recovery menu loads fine, ClockworkMod Recovery doesn't seem to load. Can i use the normal Recovery or does anyone know a way of getting ClockworkMod Recovery to work?
Root is not required to flash a custom rom or recovery.
Try flashing twrp and then flashing a rom from twrp.
I got stuck in here while i trying to install custom recovery (TWRP). Any solution?
