Weird behaviour - Galaxy S I9000 General

Being a seasonal type of chap I installed a free live wallpaper depicting a Christmas tree and snow seen. Nothing weird there.
What is weird is that when I swipe my screen to change to the next desktop often the background will rotate but the desktop stays still. This may happen several times before the desktop changes. Anyone else have this?

Nexus One Clock Display

Okay, so I've noticed that on both my lock screen and Clock app, that my alarm clocks don't show up as the Human Readable time format. For example, I have an alarm set for 6am tomororow (1/12/2010), and when the lock screen is showing it has the alarmclock icon and show "1263294000000" next to it, which is the epoch time for 1/12/2010 6:00:00 am. It also does this in the clock app on the app's home screen, but if I go into the alarms screen it shows up fine.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Weird. Mine shows up in a normal time. I've tried looking through the clock app, and system settings and couldn't find a way to replicate your issue.
Since yours is rooted it may have something to do with what youve flashed to it so far.
Or maybe not cause im rooted with cyan and just tried and it appeared fine

Lol. Yah. I've got a few friends around here that have basically the same setup. Not really an issue, more a nuisance. But I seriously don't get it. I'll probably try and reset later today and recreate it. I was just curious if any one else noticed this.
Strange.
I have another question for the clock app:
Is there a way to turn off the charging light and the backlight on the capacitive buttons when in the dimmed clock app mode? The screen is actually quite nice and readable in the dark but the bright lights next to it are annoying / wash the screen out some.
Maybe it's something in Locale settings? That's where I'd look.

Trust me, I went through just about every possible 'setting' i could possibly think of. I'm assuming it has something to do with a program i have installed. I haven't had the time to do a reset yet, but plan on giving it a shot later.
Here's what I know though, its not normal, and its not because of root. Seems no one else is having this issue. lol, WTF.

[Q] Ocean Waves Live Wallpaper Issue

Hi there,
Since Samsung released their latest firmware update, my live wallpaper 'ocean waves' (which I really love) keeps getting 'messed up'. The issue is that when I go into an application and come back to the home screen, the ocean wallpaper has shrunk into the middle of the screen, leaving black space filling most of the screen. Also, before the update, when you touched the 'water', it would ripple slowly and it looked great. Now when you touch it, it bounces like jelly and looks a bit 'glitchy'. It's almost like the framerate is too high now or something.
If anyone has the same problem, let me know. Also if anyone has a solution, pleeeease let me know. I really love this wallpaper!
I have the same (on JM2). Only after running specific applications the wallpaper gets messy (like bar-code scanner). For me it helps, when the wallpaper is shrunk, to run the camera app and close it again.. Not ideal obviously, but at least I don't have to reboot..

[Q] Multi-Live Wallpaper: Green Background Issue

So I have used Multi-Live Wallpaper on all of my old phones and have never had this issue come up for me until today on the Nexus 4. My first thought was to reach out to the Developer and see if I can get some feedback, so I sent him a tweet on his twitter account. Since its in a completely different language I am not sure if I will get a valid response if I get one at all so I thought I would toss this out to the community.
This app allows you to choose specific images/folders/ or albums for your homescreen backgrounds. There are many options including the option to change the background color which is behind the image of your choosing. So for example if I choose the color red for the background of my 1st homescreen, any gaps in between the 1st homescreen or the others when transitioning between screens will be red. Well for some reason on of my screens has a green background, while I have all of my screens set to other colors. I have messed with all of the settings since I am quite similar with this app, but nothing seems to remove it. If anything I can get it to change to a different homescreen when I mess with the advanced "workaround for some home application" option. Anybody else having this issue and was able to resolve it? Thank you

Wallpaper bug - Wallpaper becomes zoomed in after some time?

I was glad to see that in KitKat they changed the wallpaper setter to simply set the wallpaper to full-screen without scrolling if you pick one that's the right resolution, e.g. 2560x1600. So you can see the entire picture, without using a separate app to set it. Unfortunately, it seems they couldn't even get this right. It sets fine initially, but after some time passes, the wallpaper randomly becomes zoomed in/cropped like it would have in the past. Setting it again fixes it, but only for awhile.
Does anyone have any insights into what's going on here?

I have the same problem on my wife's Moto X with 4.4. If you find a solution, please share it on here!

Screen Offset

I have tried everything, changing screen resolution, DPI, screen zoom, etc. But I just cannot stop the screen from going below the bottom of the phone. Happening on the lockscreen and a few others, strange thing is does not happen on all apps.
Does anyone know how you stop this? Thank you.
Hi,
not sure it'll help, but under settings, there in the display settings is a option for "full screen apps"
Give it a try?
Did you try doing a factory reset
No I haven't done a factory reset as that is really the only issue, and everything else is running like a charm. Don t think it deserves hours of setting up again and no guarantees that it fixes the problem.
It's Lockstar causing that behaviour...
Give it up. Use the stock lockscreen.
That's what I did... Lockstar many times give me weird elements positioninig

Tried that, stock lock screen still does exactly the same. And it cuts off a few other app menus, but not all which is weird.
Strange thing I have noticed, I was playing a game waiting for the doctor yesterday, when I was called I switched off the screen without exiting the game. Later when I turned on the screen again all the icons were visible in the right places. Some kind of DPI graphics change when the game runs I imagine?
Found the issues causing this problem.
I enabled navigation gestures in settings rather than navigation buttons.
Fluid Navigation was set to hide navigation bar, I set this to do not hide.
Both the lockscreen and all other offsets no longer occur.
