What you have to do is when in a text box hold out down a box will pop up that says input method push it and it will give you your options. Hope I helped.

Rule of thumb. When in doubt, long press or menu.
in this case long press in the text field, choose input method.
Oh I never thought about that lol

When I was messing around with my epic yesterday I did something I never did before.
If you swype your finger on the notification bar you can turn your brightness up or down.
Just wanted to let you all know this, Did not see any other post on it.

Has anyone else experiences this? It always happens after I go into another app or put the phone to sleep from xda. Usually after 10-15 minutes I go back into xda and it takes for to load. Then once I press back or home it force closes. Not a big deal but gets kind of annoying.

Yeah happens to me too. I go in, it says connecting to server forever, then I hit back to close that popup, then if I hit back again it slides over to a blank screen, then the force close notification pops up.

Go into settings, locale and text and then find the keyboard and go into it's settings. Unchecked the option for sound on press

I don't believe there is one, the options given fix nothing that people want fixed. It's actually pretty accurate but it's such an annoying sound from the key presses.

Go to settings>sounds or whatever
There's a setting to shut off sounds

As previously stated there is no option on the stock messaging app, however it is possible to attach a contact card. If your friend is using it for business they would be able to attach a contact card with their information on texts that require it.
