Strange battery drain if >50%

Hi there,
i know there are a lot of threads with complains about the battery drain, but i have a strange issue. If the battery is over 50% and i let the phone on standby for 7 hours, it loses 3-5% (thats very good). When it is under 50% it seems to drain empty over 7 hours. Same place, same settings, good network coverage, internet is off (and GSM only). Thats sometimes unpredictable, it sometimes just loses the power comlpetly, but ONLY when battery is under 50%!
I have made the basic trwaks from the pinned "hints&tips" thread" and also installed duttys taskmanager and tsowens taskbar. Nothing else is running in the background. Help me please
Edit: in thread title it should be "<50%", my mistake

Sleep/Standby Battery Drain

I have seen many posts about the poor battery life on the ADAM when in heavy/normal use. I have seen very bad battery drain just in standby/sleep on all the roms I have tested (Stock Newest build, edenx, and now CM7). SetCpu currently doesn't support profiles but I wonder if the processor still runs heavily even when in standby.
I should note that i usually turn off WIFI when not in use and also background data sync.
Pixel Qi Wifi.
As usual, after unplugging the device in the morning and not touching it for 8+ hours, it has about 50% battery left and battery history shows Phone Standby using all the battery. I guess these quirks will not be resolved until Honeycomb if ever.
Which do you mean "cell standby" or "phone idle"? I have the same model and the battery still drains more than expect overnight, but notas much as 50%. Did you apply a fix to remove cell standby?
Phone idle is what is reported. Here is a more specific example: on battery power for 10 hours today in standby with wifi off and background sync off and the battey is down to 55%. This is not a huge problem but I dont like to leave it on the charger constantly when not in use.
Kill the "phone Idle" <- that's really draining and if you don't use SIP on a WiFi only you can de-install phone and phoneprovider
2 other things you could try,
Install from the market:
"autokiller memory optimizer" and
"Juice defender"
They seem to help for me.
or use BEAST ROM 2.2. My ADAM batterie status is after 23 hours on 36%.

Can anyone explain this-battery draining ?!

HI XDA,
My friend have a galaxy s i9000 international version. He was on 2.1 few weeks ago.
He is upgraded his phone to 2.3.3 JVH via KIES.
And then battery draining beggins. He has to recharge the phone every 6 hours.Butt after 10 days everything is ok.Now he can play with the phone for 3 days.He didn't do factory reset, nothing that it's recomended to do in this situation.
How?I don't undestand.
Thanks in advance
the battery recalibrated ...
battery recalibration occurs after 2-3 recharges
It could also be due to a well known gb bug, which causes intermittent battery drain problem, if this is the case it will show as heavy usage by android os in your battery stats
Insanity cm 015/glitch
Privacy -> Back up my data
If you look in settings -> Privacy -> Back up my data is it checked? You might want to try unchecking it if it is.
I had all sorts of horrible battery drain from this being on while having poor signal at work and the phone constantly looking for a better data connection to sync over. I only realised this could be a problem after I got some fair usage warnings from my operator. Did a google for the cause of the excessive data use and found this option. Turned it off and my phone went from sometimes discharging faster than it could charge and dying in a couple of hours to lasting over a day.

Alarm Clock causing idle battery drain?

When I first got my phone battery life was really good. However, I started noticing a couple of days ago that it started draining more rapidly so I installed GSM battery to find out the culprit and left my phone on overnight.
What I found out was that my alarm clock was the main problem of the android OS draining my battery while it was idle! WTF.
Any ideas besides rebooting my phone?
From the GNex to this, the inconsistencies and fluctuatings between battery life daily is killing me. Plus the battery graph isn't showing flat anymore.

I get this from the Alarm Clock Plus app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vp.alarmClockPlusDock&hl=en
So I guess it's not actually the fault of the app if you're getting something like this with the stock clock app?
Does anybody else have this problem?

Strange kind of Battery drain
