Where is your Nexus One?

Mine is gonna be chillin' in Indianapolis for the weekend.

You already know where mine is...on the Strip!

On its way to Chicago right now... it'll be stuck in the Chicago warehouse unless it gets there while I'm still in town and I can go there and pick it up myself. Otherwise, it will be delivered to my sis on Monday, then mailed to me.

mine is laying next to me playing deadmau5 and some other electronic music through pandora on wifi, 2.5 straight hours of playing and batter is at 90% from a full charge

**** man...my favorite sushi joint is in Sylvania on Central (Kyota Ka). I agree, Arizona would be tits right now. I'm in Chicago right now and it's about 10 degrees. Toledo is warm right now in comparison.

Sprint has it but they open at 8 and I gotta work at 7.
The shack is opening at 6 so I got time.

Just went to a nearby Sprint store and saw about 5 people outside in a line (some in small tents). The nearby Radio Shack had no one outside.
Probably will wait a few hours and head back out, hopefully to Radio Shack.

That army of one video game was the ****! Well, as far as learning how to shoot and maintain your rifle goes. LOL...I used to fail at shooting just so I could sit in a nice warm room playing video games while everyone else was freezing and laying in the mud.
When I joined...they offered me a backpack and a track suit. Both of which I never received.

Through in a free case for that iPhone and you got a deal! Ya know ill need reception to call for back up. I can't wait to have those touching moments with the front cam like they do in the commercials.

So yeah, they will give you a free phone, but they are going to charge you for all your clothes and gear. That stuff is way more expensive than a phone. Back in the day, the gear was all free.

When I was at Fort Lost in the Woods I didn't get jack crap. I had a good time granted the learning of US weapons and explosives, and night training, and MRE's, and well physical fitness. But not a damn phone cheap bastards. I guess before the Bush admin we got a half-million dollar life insurance policy upgrade. So I always have that....

When I was in basic they gave us a notebook and told us to "fire up out recruit laptops" when they wanted us to pull them out and study our general orders or whatever. I got screwed.

I guess the "senior member" by your name has a dual meaning then lol....
Anyways, giving your life away saving someone elses country will never be worth an iphone, evo, or a million dollars in my opinion. Too much worrying about what goes on in the world and not enough fixing our own country talked me out of a 50 thousand dollar sign on bonus for a 6 year enlistment. It just isnt worth dying over religious belief conflicts.

You might want to check craigs list. They are probably looking to unload it

Hope you get lucky, but the odds are against you in retrieving the phone or finding the person, You might find someone who is living in the complex and offer them a reward to find who is offing a vibrant that would be your best chance.

If gps is working, you should be able to do something like find my droid

I have not used it, but an app called Plan B got released recently. It will find your phone even if you did not install it before it got stolen.
Again, i have not used it, but I think your google account still has to be associated with the phone, so you may want to try it before whoever stole it resets it. (not sure, but guessing)
I know you said gps told you its in the apartments, but Im guessing it wont show you which one? Even if it does not tell you which apartment, see it if will get you close. I read that Plan B will send the location every 10 minutes, so you could watch to see if it moves. For example, if you know its on one of the apartments, see who comes and goes, and if in that time period any of the find your phone apps tell you its moving, at least you can figure out who has it...

Yes, do that, the app PLAN B is great huh specially with the web market you can install it.
Just a thought, what would you do if this happened lol..
Your just walking near the apartments and drop your keys or something a nice guy takes it and gives it to you. you thank him and start talking. you get your email from PLAN B

the phone has not been turned on again since 4 hours after it was stolen.
we did put reward signs in the apartment complex but no luck there
we have received a new one for the expensive 130 dollar deductible and activated a new sim today so we will never tell if it moves again.
lesson learned. don't eat at golden corral!! the customers there suck

But I realized.. For over a year I've been modding and theming, roming, kerneling and radioing with you guys..
Now, its over..
It sucks because there is almost no development for the GSII on T-mobile..
I was gonna wait for the Nexus that Sprint said was going to come this month, now they say mid 2012..
Plus, ZERO LTE.. I don't trust them..

Good luck and totally understand why you're doing this. What I find truly sad is that an awesome phone like the Evo sells for $50, yet an outdated POS like iPhone 3G still sells for $200+ on craigslist.

yeah its crazy what sprint's doing (nothing). I moved to a new town, a few towns over from where I was living, and last year it was great, the data speeds. A few months ago, garbage. Still, garbage. I've been with sprint for 12 years...and i'm considering moving to another carrier. I feel like gsm will be my next step. i'm so pissed that they're running this company into the ground. wimax was such a bad idea.. i'm just gonna smoke a bowl and try to forget that it takes 10 minutes for my phone to download a facebook update, and google music barely ever streams properly.. yo at least the call quality is still superb though.

Not ALL the TMobile phones are free. The G SII is 229.00, according to their website

Totally understand the need for speed. Here in eastern NC, we're never gonna get 4G of any kind, so I'll stick with Sprint, as their service in this area is second to none and their prices are outstanding.

Me too.. was with Sprint for 11 years..
I was suckered into the EVO.. Promised (by not only the sales guy but customer service too) that 4G would be in my area within month..
I was asked to pay 10 bucks more a month.... Call it what you want, it was for the 4G!!!
I was going to wait and get the Nexus as I was told its coming this month, I was even told LTE is going to be spread like a wild fire and by the end of 2012 it will be all over the united states..
Then go look at their site, they show a video of where LTE will be installed.. not even in my state..
I got this phone today.. Its sexy as hell.. My download speeds which I've done about 30 now, lol, vary from 22 down 5 up to the lowest of , 6 down 1.5 up..
It's unreal!!
Netflix,Slingplayer,HBO GO, everything is un real fast...

2 year contract, you do have to pay for it upfront, (figured that) and rebate it back..

NetworkVision is going to make some huge improvements in 99% of places guys. Leaving sprint now is like leaving at the absolute worst of times and you'll miss out on the great times in the near future.
LTE will spread like wild fire and be complete by next years end.
Now if you have no problem going and paying more elsewhere and having data caps/throttling then more power to ya.
A site for some very solid sprint network info that I've run across is "s4grub.com" as there is a wealth of detailed information there, most of which you couldn't even get from sprint themselves.

Been hearing the same **** about "plain old" 4G for the last 3 years. Now miraculously Sprint is going to be "complete" with ANYTHING?
I won't hold my breath.
Or maybe I will at least until May when my Sprint contract is up....
