Hey guys, I've taken the time to write a review up on the Dell Streak and included a section about unofficial roms.
Would very much appreciate your feedback!

Why do you give this braindead encoded thing instead of pasting a direct link??
Cos I am new to XDA and I am not allowed to post links yet. It is the site that prevents me.
Oh. So you're just a spammer using this forum for nothing more than promoting his site.

Guys,
I've been sent this link from a new member [djdiablo] who can't post links yet.
The links fine and legit, I also know of the member who sent me link from the AndroidForum so again nothing to worry of.
Bear in mind though by default it's a Chinese site but Google Translate automatically translated the entire contents easily.
Anyway, the link which goes to the Mobile01 web site has instructions and lots of detailed pictures in how to dissect the i9000 Galaxy S.
Comments please before passing onto cookers.
Thanks for the help, Beards!!
Yes, I feel these pics could prove very valuable to the Dev Team/ROM cookers as they will be able to see each part that is inside the phone so they will know what they are about to deal with.
Really looking forward to this phone!!
And my username on Android Forums is elchingon666, feel free to check my posts, I have lots of good info!!
No problem Ryan.
Thanks again for the link.

but before everyone dashes over there and starts posting 'how to instal android on my hd2' it doesn't work, yet, but it IS a massive step closer.
I have found that a lot of Sites on the internet scan our xda & post only the OP as their own.
I did a simple google search with these words, 'ddjp6 speedmod version' & here is the result - http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=ddjp6+speedmod+version
A example here is - http://www.galaxyroot.com/tag/csc/ . If the links are downloaded by people who are not really aware of many discussions that are going on here, they face serious problems with their phones.
I request all the custom ROM developers to at least put a direct HTML link to your OWN post in the OP.
I have put a direct HTML link of my own post in my OP. At least people browsing sites like galaxy root will have a link back to my ROM.
Hope I am helping.

Hmmm, no lol. If people are stupid enough to install a piece of software onto a phone, or pc for that matter without knowing what theyre doing then it their own fault if something goes wrong.
Like my 10yr old says always make sure you read up on what your about to install, or even uninstall before doing so.
Perhaps a link to common sense would be best? Or better still close this thread that is clogging up the 'development section'

Sometimes intelligent people search Google.
Anyway this was just an observation, A lot of developers including Darkyy have been put a lot of problems because of their ROMs being downloaded from other sites.
PS : Darkyy is a famous guy, I am not. I really don't know how many phones I have neutered by posting my ROM.
The example you give does have references to xda and the original authors
Even your own name is mentioned

BUT, a person browsing that would'nt even think of visiting my thread because all the links are already there. If he had a link to my Thread there he would check it out.
Links are there.
That was just ONE site I mentioned, what about others? & different languages? All I am suggesting is just a simple link back to your own ROMs or threads in your first post.
And how is this post eligible for Dev section?

This is meant for the developers to put a link in their OP.
Go to forum xx read wonderful review of yy rom follow link to XDA install rom do not read instructions brick phone join XDA post 1 = help i bricked my phone .
Multiply that by a large number .
jje
All links pulled due to XDA Request after an XDA member complained I was only out for profits to a moderator on a few products I have. Due to the fact I link to a product or two and a few other things in many videos, I was asked to pull any content relating to this.
I will still be offering all this great material at my website. Just go to google and search for MobileTechVideos.
Did you just buy a new camera or something? Well thanks i guess its time consuming...
Dont get too happy with the camera and start making pornos though.

Edit: Noticed you have a text ROM review thread. It looks good...surprised that you don't understand the value of a good video review/tutorial since you your doing the same thing in text.

Thanks for your informative videos. I am a visual learner so things just are much easier for me if I see someone doing step by step. I tried to PM you but that is not working right now I got an error message. I wanted to know your eBay username so I can purchase the Samsung Galaxy S USB Jig from you and get the positive feedback as a bonus. My username is the same as here.
Does unrooting reinstall the factory 2.2 settings?
What's up? I'm new to the sight, and all the wonderful things you can do with a rooted vibrant.
Can anyone tell me if you have a factory 2.2 vibrant and you root it, can you unroot it and send back to t-mobile for warranty purposes. Thanks!
Can this thread be made sticky? Wonderful work, Thanks OP!
Very saddened that I cannot read these guides any more
The apps required and demonstration can all be seen in my video. Let me know if you have any questions, very basic stuff.
Since I have less than 10 posts XDA wont let me post the direct link to the YouTube videos. My Username is MODEDIT find my channel and it will be one of the latest videos posted. I'll update with links ASAP.
Thanks
