Hi,
It seems a few devices seem to be experiencing choppy music. Now there could be a number of reasons for this, but I am wondering if anyone where has found a solution to it.
Seems the X10 Min, Droid ?, Droid Pro seem to be experiencing choppy / stuttering music when playing music through the built in music player or through a 3rd party one that most likely uses the same library anyways (think winamp).
I was wondering if its possible to install just the kernel from the android source tree for my rooted device?
Or has anyone else found an solution to this problem?

So i some problems when it comes to viewing my videos i record through the phone. After i record them and go into 3d gallery to play them, they come out very choppy, like its loading and just skips through parts. It really is annoying cause the only way to view my videos is to record them and place them onto computer to properly watch them. Is anyone else having this problem? I switch between CM and MIUI roms. Both cause the same problem, i get the feeling it my be either my sd card or 3d gallery.
Hey i have the same problem. Every time I record a video then play it, it plays all choppy and weird, but if you play that same video twice, the second time will play it smoothly. I still don't know why this is happening, I'm also thinking it has something to do with the memory card. Hopefully somebody can help us out here.
Videos work fine with stock software.

Anyone else with some kind of solution?
I decided to try some NAND builds but didn't like them because .flac music files could no longer be played and most video files too, or the subtitles would not show, so i reverted back to FroyoStone Sense - V3.2. Now the problem is that now these same problems are still there. I used mixzing to play my flac files, now it isn't registering them as music files at all. As for the video i used combination of rock player and vplayer. On both a lot of videos wont play at all, or if they do the picture is choppy and they lag a lot. Also it used to be possible to play video files with hardware mode on rock player now it isn't. If anyone has any ideas as to what may be causing these problems i would appreciate it.
Hi. I'm currently running MIUI 2.1.20 (see link below)
http://forums.miui.us/showthread.php?13388-MIUI-us-Kindle-Fire-rom-Updated-2-1-20-0xD34D
One problem for me is that I can play streaming videos from the Net and user-uploaded videos in Facebook, but when they play, the video is all choppy, like how a TV is out of tune with like diagonal lines running through it, so it's pretty much un-viewable. The audio plays fine, and the video plays, just can't really make it out at all. So, this happens when I try to watch videos from web-sites that aren't in YouTube & Netflix (those work fine).
Was wondering if there has been any development regarding a fix for this issue in this build of MIUI?
If not, does anyone know if the 2.2.3 ICS build of MIUI addresses this issue? (see link below) It's not listed as a known issue, but I don't want to assume it's fixed before flashing to it.

I use MX video player for all my videos. You can set it to SW decode and its pretty good about playing all videos without lag.

Right now, the lack of hardware acceleration in the multiple ports of ICS for the Fire prevents HD video playback, and often leaves SD video pretty laggy or choppy. Also, with no native support for Adobe Flash when streaming video, that can degrade the quality as well, if not playing whatsoever. The devs are working to get this resolved, but as it's a really complicated process, it still may be awhile before it's resolved.
Anyone else have issues using the Youtube App in relation to an endless amount of buffering? If i try to watch a HQ video thru the App it has to buffer every 5 seconds or so.....making it pretty much impossible to use. I can however load youtube in a browser, and stream just fine.....leading me to believe the App is the problem. My wifes iPad streams thru it's Youtube App without issue, so I know it isn't a router problem or anything of that nature either. Anyone else having similar issues? Or anyone know of a solution?
Anyone else having issues might want to try this youtube apk. Seems to be working better than the lastest version from the play store.

Hello everyone. I just want to ask if anyone has the same problem or knows how to fix this.
After updating to 4.3, I can not stream video with MX Player or the stock video player. Tried various other apps on the play store and none seem to work.
Sometimes a video starts to stream and lags like crazy, then freezes. Any help?
