It is not compatible with the Droid X, so it cannot be downloaded from the market.

Finally one that works! Thx!
Downloaded the link that says LATEST VERSION and its working
Yes! It is version 1.2.1 build 843839-1.2.0-30 and works on my stock, unrooted DroidX on GB 2.3.3 and doesn't prompt you to update on startup. Thanks guys!

Rom Manager question

I just updated Rom manager and noticed that there are now 2 backup options for us....the 2nd is called Droid X (2nd-unit). Anyone have any idea what its for? I looked at the changelog, but it didn't say anything about it

It's for those that are running CyanogenMod 7. It allows you to install an updated CWM.

Ginberbreak is outdated in rooting the X.
Pete's Motorola Root Tools can be used to root the latest OTA.

Droid 3 One click root is what I use for DX, on 602 or 605 builds.

Use an earlier version and don't update it. The last update killed it.
