Having A Flash Problem... - Droid X General

I just recently Sbf'd my and did a factory reset of my Droid x. I then activated my phone and re rooted and flashed clockwork recovery and I can't flash a rom anymore. Can anyone help with this problem?

Have you tried wiping cache, data and stuff and or trying to mount the system folder? is the recovery reading your sdcard by any chance?
if you made a previous backup could you restore it in recovery?
don't know much about this stuff but i hope it helps

[q] help i think i'm bricked!

I really hope someone can help me here. I rooted a Droid 2 (not global) for a friend a while back and now we seem to have a problem. He got the main idea of how it all works but he said he tried to put a new rom on, wiped data and cache and the rom apparently never loaded. Now when he turns it on it bootloops. I figured this wasn't going to be an issue, all i'd have to do is go into recovery and flash a backup. Well problem is, it wouldn't go into recovery via power+X and then the search button. It brought me into something I had never seen. All it had was:
Reboot Phone
Install update.zip
wipe partition
wipe data and cache
After trying for two hours and not getting anything with trying to get a D2 rom and renaming it update.zip we still had nothing so stupid me wiped data and cache.
Now I don't get a boot image all it does is send me to bootloader in which I don't know how to navigate and there is nothing on this specific problem.
SO HOW DO I FIX IT?
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!

What you saw was the stock recovery, not the custom recovery used to flash ROMs. Boot into the stock recovery and wipe data and cache from there. This should fix your bootloop. If not, you might have to SBF, reroot, and try reflashing your ROM.
If you have to, here is the guide to SBF:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=770224 (be sure to use RSDlite 4.9)
And is the SBF file to download:

Hope this helps!

You're confounding variables here... you're trying to use TWRP like Titanium (apps/data).
TWRP (like CWM) is a MONOLITHIC backup system, pretty much everything gets restored. Titanium is GRANULAR... and selected apps/data are restored WITHIN the ROM you've just flashed... not OVER THE TOP of the ROM, as you've just attempted to do... which will cause no end of problems.
--------
Here's what I would do.... restore your NANDROID backup as normal (factory reset, etc.)... Get TITANIUM from PlayStore. Backup your apps/data using that.
Flash your ROM... restore your apps/data using TITANIUM.

Clockwork Mod Recovery

Hi guys, I wonder can anyone help. I done a backup using Clorkwork Mod before I flashed a new ROM onto my phone. Now when i am trying to restore the backup onto the phone using CWM it completes the task but whenever I reboot the phone it gets passed the first samsung screen but hangs at the second SAMSUNG screen where the text is pulsing.
I have tried Wipe / Data factory reset, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvick and fix permissions. None of these seem to make any difference. The only thing that has worked in flashing a new ROM but I do not want to lose any of my apps /configs.
Any suggestions guys would be much appreciated.

Bootloop after CWM restore

My Nexsus 4 was at 5.0.1 updated OTA, I rooted and installed recovery and created a nandriod backup on the internal SD card. The phone was working fine for the most part except it was having issues with the screen going black when making a call and would not come out of that state. I wanted to revert back prior backup so I did a nandriod restore with CWM v6.0.4.7 and now my phone is in a bootloop. I've tried wipe data/factory reset, also tried wipe cache partition, but still stuck in bootloop. I'm not sure what else I can do to get out of this bootloop state/ Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Fixed it by using Nexus Root Tool Kit to flash stock image. Not sure what happened but I'm switching to TWRP. First time using CWM and things didn't work out well for me using it.

Cannot wipe with TWRP

Hi,
I have G935F, installed TWRP 3.0.0.0 and rooted, WITHOUT wiping. System boots correctly, but I cannot do factory reset or wipe with TWRP, because I got some messages like "Cannot mount Data" and "Failed crypto loader". I understand that it has to do with encryption. Can someone please enlight me, and give me tips about the issue?
Thank you

You have to download dm-verity and force encryption disabler from here , put it to SD card, reboot into TWRP, FORMAT DATA (not wipe) and flash that file (dm-verity and force encryption disabler). All your data will be erased.
No way to unencrypt without loosing you data for the moment(
"All your data will be erased" means that after boot I'll find a clean system installation (as factory reset)?
I hope not to be posing stupid questions, I'm completely new to this world
Thank you very much
Yes just as a factory reset

No, you cannot perform a backup, because your data is encrypted by default and the only way to disable it is to format your data.
I have a unique problem. I have a HTC Desire 612 from Verizon and I decided to revive it to playe PoGo. But it was stuck in a boot loop and I couldn't get any custom ROM.
Finally a gentle soul here gave me the stock rom and I flashed it vide TWRP and played PoGo for weeks. Then yesterday the phone bro led and when it came up it was stuck in a boot loop.
So I decided to flash the stock ROM again. But before that I tried to factory reset. I could go to TWRP, select wipe data, enter yes and the wiping was successful, then clear dalvic and cache and system beforehand finally I flashed the stock ROM.
Surprise surprise is NOTHING happens. The phone boots without the apps telling me they are installing. Then I get back the exact same data in my phone including my selected wallpaper and apps. Before I can do anything the phone restarts.
Point is wiping and restoring the stock ROM does NOTHING to the phone yet the processes are successful. Can somebody help?
