[Q] MIUI Rom for HTC Tattoo?

Hi everybody! I would like to know if someone can take a look at the porting of MIUI rom for our Tattoo.
It should only be a problem of resolution or am i wrong?

I've read something about this chinese rom and it sounds very good. I would be interested in this rom too...

Well it seems they have already translated it and added some cool feature we just need someone who can port it to our tattoo! I would love to do it but i dont have the skills :-(

Does someone have the link to the source of MIUI itself?
Maybe we can add it to an existing ROM. Or is it not an interfave ,but a ROM?

Srsly, cool rom... i'm not sceptic, but desire had 2x better hw than tattoo... it looks cool on desire... but i'm not sure about same on tattoo:/

It´s a rom based on FroYo so I would think if CM6 works on Tattoo this could work also. ivendor did it with CM6 maybe he can take a look at MIUI ?

Download desire miui rom
Replaced kernel + boot.img with cm6 rom.
Getting reboots.

It was the installer script in the previous try
it did not do anything..
only replacing boot.img... lol
im now ./adb pushing an new rom to my phone.

I'd be surprised if you actually got it to work that way. I'm afraid it's not that simple unfortunately.

i think it will never come i need it for my brothers phone...

[Q] Need help to port a Gingerbread (2.3.3) ROM to HD2

Hi. I am keen to learn how to port a Gingerbread ROM which I like to HD2 and would appreciate if someone could advice or recommend me the place to start. The closest I found was in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=898215 but someone mentioned that it is already outdated as the advice would only work with older android version.

I am not sure if this is call making an android Rom ... what I want to know is if I see a good gingerbread rom from the HTC desire for example, how can I "cook" it for hd2?

Yeah I think u mean making,cooking a rom for HD2,not flashing it to HD2 ,right?
I think u need to put alot of time to make a good stable rom.that's y I prefer to download one and just flash it and see how it runs

Yes. I am not referring to flashing it but cooking it for hd2. I have already tried a couple of the custom Gingerbread Rom for hd2 but am not entirely satisfied so I decide to cook one for myself based on the other HTC handsets.

Aha I see,I'm using BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA GINGER 2.3.3 RAM_V5 and so far it's great.
ppl also recommend this:
TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 RC2 v2.6.2 [2.3.3][A2SD][tytung r7]
but if u wanna make ur own rom ,if I'm not wrong u can find a Chief program easy to cook a rom for ur desires ,but I'm not 100 percent sure it's an entire rom or just the interface ,I never tried that, have a look at that.

Been using TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 rom on my device this rom updates very quickly

[Q] HTC Hero (froyo with sense?)

Can someone link me the best rom for HTC Hero to root it and put froyo 2.2 on my device?
I'm know a little of rooting but i've been reading lot's of threads about the update.
Is there a rom available that fully works? Incl. gps, mms, camera ?
I still love the sense, i'd like to keep that actually.

there is no 2.2 or 2.3 with sense that has a working cam
if there was i would be a very happy man
if you don't mind the camera, there is a working sense 2.2 called
ChocolatSense by RaDuG..
otherwise, all AOSP rom's are fully working
elelinux, froyd, chocolateclair, ..
so make a pick

Are some developpers still working on a 2.2 sense with working cam or ... is it not worth waiting for that?

don't think he's still looking for a solution..
htc doesn't really share their sources so finding the problem is
very difficult..
otherwise:
- fusionrom update 10 : not the latest but best battery life (XDA)
- speedmachine v3 from elelinux : very stable & fast (XDA)
- cronos froyo & ginger are very very good, everything working like a charm (GIYF)

VillainROM are working on a 2.3 with Sense rom with working everything (I hope!):
Anyone fancy some Gingerbread sense from @RaiderX303? Wifi, 3G, htcsense.com, GPU all working, as well as button lights, all on .29 kernel

[Q] I need help with problem solving

First I have to say "Hi", you guys are the best.
I have the problem and I dont know how to solve it..
I have bought HTC HD2 with android rom 2.3.3 who have LauncherPro on it, but I want to do something myself,
and I instaled "[Sense 3.5] Energy™ -.¸¸.·´¯ Sense 3.5", it's not bad at all but I don't like sense... I was looking for a long time rom that I previous have, but I can't find it... whit rom that I have I could instal "frontline commando" from market but now "This app is incompatible with all of your devices." ... everything else I can instal but it's annoying that I can't instal this game.
I I would be glad if someone help me to find that rom that I had...
so... It had LauncherPro, 2.3.3 android version, and when I turn on phone there is a boot screen(flash screen) whit droid that disappears and comes back.

I've tried out many ROMs and I've been able to install FL Commando on all of them (as for playability, only ICS was good) so just take your pick, probably from an AOSP, CM or MIUI ROM.

hi have one new phone htc glacier;mytouch 4g and i need to install custom rom in that phone anyone know which one is best rom for htc mytouch 4g?

People ask this all the time like we have an answer. This phone has loads of ROMs, no one can pick what will be best for you. All JB ROMs have small bugs so if you need 100% stable go back to GB.

anyways, if you want a really stable rom thats newer(ish) try Synthetic.Nightmare's AOSPx. Its really good. Othrwise, just listen to dragonswithin and go back to a GB rom. Like CyanogenMod 7

I vote for Dark Unicorn Ressurected v2.5, best ICS rom for mytouch4g. Very stable, very smooth, lots of options and everything works.
Dark JellyBellyG1.1 has random reboots and all other jb roms have some issues.

Sabsa Prime v15.0 has been the most stable rom for my MT4G it runs Android 4.0.4

Im using Rom 4.3 Carbon . I feel it's best!
