Is there going to be a fix for bluetooth connection on JT's Superclean 0.6 or 0.7? Bluetooth doesn't connect, recognize, or turn on at all. Also, is there any way to get voice command back?
Sounds like a kernel issue. Bluetooth turns on fine for me, though I don't use it.

Go to the secret place where you got the secret rom and ask for a kernel and or modem. For which ever step you left out of the secret process.

I tried searching, but without any luck. Does anyone know of a program that you press a button when you leave your car and then use the GPS to later locate your car? My 8125 is dieing and can't wait to get the Touch Pro.
Greg
Save the location of your car to your favourite locations on the GPS program (TomTom or whatever you using). Then you can find it.
Cool...that will work.
No2Chem started building an app specifically for that. I never tried it, and I don't think it is still be actively developed, but it should do exactly what you are asking for. Just another option.

Arrfffffff...But with the GPS lag and some approximative positionning on the Diamond and the Touch Pro, don't play with that on a IKEA Parking, because you can turn during hours around your car and the shop will be closed before you find it away...

Is it just me, maybe I missed something, .. been anxiously awaiting 2.2, flashed it today, what are the pros? No wifi tether, capped fps, no UI enhancements (that I noticed). Anyone wanna tell me they are lovin it, and why? Maybe I was expecting too much.
Sorry wrong thread, tryin to figure out how to delete...

ITs FROyO!!!!!!!! lol
this should not be posted here. post in q and a.
and do some more reading because many of those things work.
and how about making your phone 3 to 5 times faster!!!
use the search button to the top right
It's much faster for one and more refined than earlier builds. That last past is much more apparent in aosp builds then with sense. And there is WiFi tether. You just have to use the latest apk. And just an FYI, prepare to ne flamed by someone. This type of post belongs in q&a.

so WiFi Tethering is working on your ROM? if so that is great to hear.
I going to go read your thread and try to get some confirmation of this.
You really really can tell the phone is less sluggish. Video-taking is much improved because of this. The speed of which i can snap photos of funny **** my kids are doing is so important to me. They can be doing funny things for half a second and can't stand any lag.
The signal seems improved to me in my area with the new radio flash. so thats good
The phone is just loads better at what it is supposed to do.

Ya...Try one of the Kernels floatin around to speed things up
I just flashed BakedSnack's rom (Thank you kind sir) and it's scary fast. 47 MFLOPS compared to 7 on 2.1. I just tested the wifi-tethering and it worked seamlessly. I also don't have the FPS capped situation. I'm averaging around 50 at the moment.

I was just about to say the same.
I think the Froyo update was over-hyped. I haven't noticed any significant increase in speed or battery life, same 4G/3G performance, and Hulu doesn't work.
Because it's not working for me! any updates on this? or is there just nothing happening?
Well considering there's no official 2.2.. I'm sure its a low priority. Sorry

Most of the custom dk28 roms should run skype. There was a mod of skype floating around here a while ago that had 3g and wifi capabilites, which is supposed to be exclusive to vz, but skype still didn't have vid for the phone so I wasn't interested. Good luck! Its back down the ladder of posts many many rungs, to be exactly how many no one really knows....

RE: SWYPE
So, I was previously running MidNight and I coulnd't figure out how to get Swype to work. I'm now running Bonzia4All and it works great ... I loved Midnight - and it was probably just me ...
BTW - I didn't know that Swype was broken in stock rom. Is it?
Settings -> local and text -> make sure it has Swype in there ... toggle it back and forth .. I dunno.
Like I said, I just thought it was broken after I rooted and Custom Rom the phone.

My wife used it to phone Korea last night and this morning. No problems at all. (She was on wifi; we haven't tested it on 4g/3g yet.)
Chatting, of course, works fine on any network.

Agreed, I love this ROM. Quick, no hiccups, great look and feel, comes with great features just overall very good development job on this ROM. I didn't have to do really anything to it, it came pretty much perfect
I second the shoutout to the Dev team for this one
Edit: Don't like the cap on the Overclock feature but can understand why it was put in place. Speacking of that does anyone know the consistent clock speed the vibrant can handle without damaging the hardware?

However the new EC05 one I have doesn't. Does anyone know where to get that feature? I've looked in the market place but the "smart" alarms in there are not what I'm looking for, they try to guess when you are just finishing a dream cycle.
I'm looking for the one that starts 5 mins before you set it and it turns the screen on very dim, then brighter as time goes by. It also has nice soothing music that starts out low and gets louder.
Thanks for any help in figuring out how to get this back !
