[THEME PORTING - Script Available!] Not currently accepting Requests. - Desire Themes and Apps

NOTE: I am not accepting new requests right now - I need to work some stuff out. I recommend that you try my edited APKManager which is linked to below:
Theme Customization Script: http://www.multiupload.com/3J2GWZ8N51
flashable-template: http://www.multiupload.com/1P344L0DCO
If any of these sound like you:
- You want a theme ported from one ROM to another (IE a theme for CM6.1 ported to DeFrost or a theme for RCMixHD ported to OxygenROM)
- You want a theme updated to a newer version of a ROM (Such as a theme for DeFrost 6.0 to DeFrost 6.1)
- You want a theme ported from another device to a Desire ROM (IE a theme for the EVO 4G ported to Alex-V's DHD rom)
- You want a theme to include some specific modifications (such as some icons from another theme or multiple other themes, or even a franken-theme)
Then I might be able to help!
I am offering to port themes from A to B (from something to something else), or make modifications to a theme for the wonderful members of XDA.
If you have a theme porting request, please include the following in a request post:
- The word "Request" at the top of your post
- The name of the theme/themes that the graphics are coming from (so I can post it in this thread for all people to use).
- The name of the theme's Author (so appropriate props can be given)
- The framework-res.apk of the ROM that you want the theme to be ported to (so for example if you want a theme to be ported to DeFrost, attach the DeFrost framework-res.apk.
- The .zip or a link to the .zip ROM that you want the theme to be ported to.
Cool beans? Yip!
Josh.

I have completed modifications for the Theme Customization Script (which runs using and based on APK-Manager 1.3, so props go to the author for the inner workings). All you need to do is:
1.) Place your framework-res.apk in the folder named "place-apk-here-for-modding"
2.) Run the batch file named "Script-ThemeOnly".
3.) Press 1 to select your framework, and press 1 again when prompted.
4.) Press 2 to extract the framework.
5.) Press 3 to theme the framework.
From here, you just need to press a number within the range depending on which element you would like in which theme.
Once you have completed this step, your framework-res.apk will be zipped up back in the same folder you originally placed it, but it will have unsigned in the front of it's name. It will be called, therefore, "unsignedframework-res.apk"
Just copy it out of that directory, rename it to be called "framework-res.apk", and copy it into the folder /system/framework/ in the flashable-template.zip (like is below)
Note: You will need to disable verification while flashing.
This is the first release, so it won't contain all the different theming components that exist, but I hope to incorporate more and more over time, and make the tool do more useful things in less steps.
So I ask ye, give it a shot and let me know if it works!
Another Note: The Theme-Scripter is 45+ MB because it contains so many pngs (property of their respective authors).

I'm glad we cleared that up, I was seriously expecting him to buy a £500 DHD today and have it ported by tomorrow.

Do you mean you want Lucid ported to CM6.1 for the DHD?
If so, I could do that for you.
Josh.

AuraxTSense 8.1.2
Hey man,
I would really love to have the modded Sense theme from AuraxTSense 8.1.2 by NeoPhyTe.x360 for the latest Leedroid-Rom. I would just flash AuraxTSense Rom itself, but I am experiencing problems and Leedroid just works perfectly for me on my Desire.
Greetz!

Yep. All I need is your framework-res.apk and that zip with the icons, and i'll whip it up.

fllash do you know how to create a Metamorph theme? This can be the most easy way for all people can have here favourite theme on "any" ROM.
This is my theme for AuraxTSense 8.0:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2T88DOKS
And this is my "MetaMorph" theme, but ROM don't boot if I try to flash it:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JD9CGPL4
In MetaMorph themming, all people can see all images, and replace it easy, withou need to recopile any .apk. I think the most best way you can help others is learning how to do a MetaMorph theme

I know how metamorph theming works, but the problem is that most people have not S-OFF'd their desires, and metamorph reboots when if it cannot write to system.
Flashable zips work for everybody (assuming their rom configuration is the same, or at least similar enough).
Josh.
P.S. I'll see what i can do about the AuraxTSense theme (just got to get permissions from the author).

Does that include porting DHD themes to Desire as well?

Would you be able to attach the framework-res.apk of the leedroid 2.2f and link me to the gingerbread theme?
Oh, and also, would you be able to mention the theme's author, so i can give appropriate credit?
Thanks heaps

[THEME] Green+Mean for OpenDesire (updated 10.09.2010)

The themes are now updated through Open Desire's "OD updater"!
Just launch it, go to Configuration -> Theme Update Settings -> Manage Theme Servers -> Menu button -> Enable all Theme Servers. Then Menu button -> Update Featured Theme Servers
You can then download the desired theme.
Don't forget to import the color settings file after you applied the theme from within CyanogenMod-menu and reboot!
This is a port of Green+Mean for OpenDesire!
How to:
1.) Download the ZIP and save it on your SD-Card
2.) Boot into recovery and flash the ZIP there
3.) Reboot and enjoy
If you want to revert to standard OpenDesire-look then download ZIP "n8_OD_original_Theme.zip" and flash as described above.
================================
Additional Stuff:
- Fonts can be changed with Font-Changer from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=744363
- The clock is Beautiful Widgets and the launcher is LauncherPro Plus, both from market.
- Wallpaper: see below
================================
Credits:
The theme was ported with help from darkamikaze's Theme-Porter (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=737526). Thanks for this useful piece of software!
Originally created by m00moo (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=768265). Thank you very much! Awesome work!
I edited some of the graphics like the battery symbol (which -in the original version- always displayed "full" state) and exchanged the stock orange pics in framework-res.apk with HTC's green buttons etc. So now it's really green (and mean of course) Also I changed some values in the XML-file to make texts in the status bar better readable. But the rest is all m00moo hard work!

Maybe you should first flash n8_OD_4.0.0_original_Theme_v2 and after that n8_OD_4.0.0_GreenMean_v1.
I just checked, everything is working fine for me (and others), so there is nothing wrong with the theme.

Strange. User KBanause had a similar problem with another theme (Elegant Steel) and he somehow solved it. I think it had something to do with his OD installation. You could ask him how he solved it...

Where can I download your dock for launcherpro?

[THEME] Kalagas_Mixed_Theme_for_CyanogenMod

Kalagas Mixed Theme for Cyanogen MOD
This Theme is ONLY for Cyanogen MOD by nadlabak
This is a screenshots sample of Kalagas Mixed Theme for Cyanogen MOD:
For full size Screenshots (better quality) of Kalagas Mixed Theme for Cyanogen MOD take a look in this SlideShow.
Before doing anything take a Νandroid Backup just in case...
For installing Kalagas Mixed Theme for Cyanogen MOD you will need Androidiani Open Recovery that you can find HERE.
So download Androidiani OpenRecovery and extract it as it is on your sdcard (you must have on the root of your sdcard a folder named OpenRecovery and a .zip file named update.zip)....
Here I will try to keep my theme updated with nadlabak's releases:
So below i will put a Title with nadlabak's Realese Name and links with my Theme:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) For update-0.04-10.12.04-cm-6.1.0-Milestone-signed.zip.
Download from HERE and HERE the two(2) .zip files for applying Kalagas Mixed Theme for Cyanogen MOD.

You must reflash nadlabak's latest release and latest Google apps...
Animations
Hi Kalagas
In latest release, you take off the animations?
how can I put this on?
I didn't put anything off....
Make a wipe dalvik cache and a wipe cache to see if you have back the animations...
In my phone the Cyanogen animations works just fine with my theme...
Very nice, installed right now on 12/12 release, thank you so much and good work.
hi
i did install the theme but my phone stuck on CM logo screen
any solution?
None else have this issue...
Probably you do something wrong....
Any further informations as what Rom did you have before applying my theme would be usefully...

hi
I have update-0.04-10.11.16-cm-6.1.0-RC4-Milestone-signed
and i did exactly the same way you explained but nothing
also i've tried to apply the gingerbread theme for milestone
from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=864300
and the same problem
Hey guys come on...
Read carefully please before you use something...
In first post I am very clear...
This specific theme is for 10.12.04 and above releases of nadlabak's ROMs...
Not for 10.11.16...
That's why you stuck in M logo...
Not my fault...

Hi, it no Theme but a very good Mix of HO!NO! und "A Taste of Gingerbread" called "Modded Black GB Theme" (it's only a new framework.res) and it only works with CM6 !
Do you see a chance to port it to CM7 ?
PS: for me as a new Member it is not allowed to post external Links, so I attached the framework-res.
Kindest regards

Announcement: Theme Port to MetaMorph
Good morning,
i heard about metamorph and looked around a bit...
and... i figured out how to make metamorph themes!!!
so the updates in first post will stay and i'll start a new thread these days with the metamorph versions.
For those who not know what metamorph is:
metamorph is a script for OpenRecovery which allows to change themes.
The diffecence is that the files are patched with the new images only...
so you dont have to download a new version of the theme everytime a new rom is out...
as long its the same system (froyo and gingerbread differs in theme design cause of the new SystemUi.apk) you're able to use the theme for every update... in theory of course.
so stay tuned ^^
PS: successfully tested with iNexus CM7
ok and how can i remove the touch wiz from the design?
There're two (or more) ways,
first: use a filemanager with root access (like rootexplorer) go to "system->app" mount as R/W and delete Launcher2.apk
second: open the "Theme-update.zip", go to "system->app", delete Launcher2.apk
second way is only recommended if you're flashing a new system!
inexus rocks!!

enrsil1983 Color Theme for Cyano 7 RC 4.1 (10 apr)

I love colored themes so I made one for the latest Milestone CyanogenMod 7 RC4.1 0.08-11.04.10
Everything is colored, you will love this theme. Some screenshots are attached (or see post #8) , but that's not all...
Download the file, put in OpenRecovery/update folder and reboot in recovery
Important: Make a Nandroid Backup before installing!.
Install like you installed CM7 and Google Apps
Change background (default is black to save space) and enjoy
Here is the NEW link:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0KLRMOVJ
or else download from MirrorCreator (thanks to sileshn)
http://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/G9WU4VAW/
Note: there are other updated versions in the following pages.
Feel free to download my theme and use my icons in your themes
where the preview...?
Make it Theme Chooser theme or I am pretty sure noone will use it.
It's not only for framework-res, but also browser, settings and more files.
With Theme Chooser you will have less than 40% of the theme.
I will post preview in few hours
EDIT: I don't know how to make an update.zip file, if someone link me a guide I will do it.
I tried once and make a disaster, maybe because I used the google apps update.zip as source

you should make an update.zip package. your method is too complicated for a noob... and a preview is also a most recommended thing

You can use the attached template for creating a update.zip for your theme.
apps go into /system/app folder
fonts go into /system/fonts folder
framework files go into /system/framework folder
edit : Here is your theme as a flashable zip file.
Done. Now I'm making some previews.
Here is the theme:

Well, in that case , you need to replace the themed apps in the theme zip file with the original ones and apply the theme again.
Beautiful theme! Great work! Thanks
