Android Keyboard Files - Fascinate General

I flashed the 2.3 keyboard from Droid Life and now the keyboard doesn't open and causes a force close. Could someone post their stock keyboard files or offer a solution for the 2.3 keyboard.

This should have been posted in the general section...
Otherwise, search for the system dump or just download a clockwork zip and extract the file(s) you need.

My apologizes for the incorrect placement of this post. Where could I find the system dump folder if you don't mind me asking?

Are there .apk's asian languages to load on FlyX?

Hey guys, i've noticed that on the FlyX ROM asian languages are not displayed as the language but just as boxes. I was wondering if there is an .apk that can load asian languages on, specifically korean and japanese. This is not for input! this is so I can actually read it. Any suggestions? Thanks
there is no apk that i am aware of. You will need to download the a new font file and manually place it in your SYSTEM/FONTS directory. The file your looking for is DroidSansFallback.ttf
I believe i got mine at googles font library.
not to sound stupid or anything but how do i do that? I have seen other posts that use the terminal emulator but for some reason when I do it it does not load. Do you know of the link where you got it from the google library? thank you
anyone know?
I think you don't have root
after u root your droidx ,u can use rootexplorer to replace the font files
i did this one week ago

and you can find the right font files in the old update.zip file, just unzip it ,then search *.ttf~

[Q] Loaded first Rom and didn't backup Swype

I was hoping someone would be kind enough to help me get a copy of the swype apk for Droid X? Lesson learned, back up everything and double check before swapping roms!
I'm not sure where I remember seeing it, but someone did a dump of all the apps from 2.1 at worst, possibly 2.2. Trying doing a search for droid x default system apps or something similar.
Did u do a nandroid backup? If u can extract it and drill back down to the /system/app folder... That is where it is stored.
Edit: here is a link for the system apps backup:
http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-hacks/1356-droid-x-system-dump-those-who-deleted-apps-without-backing-up.html
Sorry to the mods if I'm not supposed to post links to other forums! Just trying to help another member in need =)

Where is the Bonzai ROM wallpaper stored?

Where is the Bonzai ROM wallpaper stored? I can't find them in Root Explorer
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
That is a good question, I have wondered that myself. Of course I haven't looked all that hard for it.
Open the zip file with 7zip and and go to
/system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi/
It's easier if you right click the zip file then select 7zip and then "open archive." No need to unzip the file.
Once inside, look for "default_wallpaper.jpg"
Here's a thought, you might get an answer straight from the dev himself if you askedin the rom thread instead of creating a whole new thread for it

This is the place for questions. If you have nothing to contribute to the thread, why post? Most threads drop off the page in less than a day. Ignore it and move along.
I had it on my phone before I switched to bonzai. I know you can find it in the app zedge if you search for htc life.

I'm sure the developer is busy, creating bigger and better ROMs for us. He prolly doesn't have time to answer every small question.

naa what you need is to download like a stock g1 rom that you KNOW has the sounds your looking for... than you un-zip that file and search in it for a media folder, thats where you'll find the ringtones and notifications sounds.. than you can either add them to another Rom's .zip file which im not sure if that works lol or you can add them to your sd card.. im sure there's other ways too...
The old audio resources can be found here: http://n0rp.chemlab.org/android/
And there is an AOSP media pack on the FBL post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=929678 ("AOSP media")
Thanks AdamPI. I was ripping my hair out looking for something that would open the nbh files. I really appreciate your help!

Sorry guys
moved to app section
I suggest a better host... that one is horrible. Why don't you simply attach the download to the forum itself? Or post this on mediafire, which has no waiting time?
thanx!!!
i have downloaded it and installed as suggested . no luck. then i unzipped through my phone and installed the apk located inside. (you have to change settings-->security-->unknown sources to install a non market apk) and it installed just fine, but it also resulted in a duplicate "android keyboard" menu. no worries though! all is good. the only thing thats irritating is that it has no dictionary, at least not for greek anyway. i will post again if i find a solution..!
Dead link... wupload.com complains that they don't allow files to be shared.
Uploader please put it in a good host!
http://qrac.zapto.org/ for instance!
EDIT1:
Google gave me this alternative link:
http://www.bergfiles.com/i/bf461ee10ch22i0
Not sure if it's authentic though
EDIT2:
Forget it... also points to wupload.com
I can't download this
It says this
Note:
Wupload does not allow files to be shared. We are a STORAGE ONLY product so you can only download your own files.
If you have uploaded this file yourself, login first in order to download it.

Flashed.But why no chinese input?
I flashed the zip in recovery, but I can't seem to find the app: not in settings, not in app drawer, not in /system/apps
Any ideas?
does it work on gingerbread?
Not working on Aurora 4.0.4
Tried both ways,
I run the apk file, rus ok, but no result under settings-language
same when I run the Zip file in CMW
Could we have a greek dictionary too?
Sent from my U8800 using xda app-developers app
Thanks
On Aurora ICS 4.0.4 - Version 5.0 update 18 Greek keyboard becomes default and cannot switch to English keyboard.
The default language of the phone is Greek too. How can I have both English and Greek keyboard languages?
