Hello everyone.
I see a lot of people complaining that the Froyo releases of the Galaxy 3 do not have Flash 10.1. I opened this topic to inform everyone who doesn't know that Flash is currently only supported on ARMv7 processors, namely the ARM Cortex A8 processors.
The Galaxy 3 has an ARMv6 processor, which is not currently supported by Flash. Adobe has mentioned that Flash might be supported on lower end processors in the near future, but right now it can only run on phones having an ARM Cortex A8 processor.
So right now, Flash is a no-go on our phone, even when the final Froyo update is released.

Hi friends
I'm gonna buying a note 4
but i'm about which of this models will be supported more by the developers
i mean for the number of custom roms and changing etc.
can you help to choose?
N910S. It has thee Snapdragon 805, and will be more popular, but the Exynos should be faster.
Which one does the S5 resemble? I compiled a kernel using toolchains optimized for ARMv15 and my S5 seems to run just fine.
It worries me you are compiling kernels when you don't understand ARM architecture.
Arm v7 or v8 are the two types: generally the 64bit processors come with arm v8. S5 is v7 as far as I know. The v15 thing you mentioned is actually professor model types: ARM do a9 and a15 cores along with their newer a53, a57 cores.

Thanks for the quick response. I have since compiled a kernel with the proper cross compiler and source code.
Hey. Since all models have similar hardware, isn't it possible to port stock ROMs between them? E.G, 531BT 5.1.1 to 530BT.
Sorry if it's a newbie question.
no, hardware not similar on 531 and 530 devices..530 have snapdragon chipset and adreno gpu..531 have marvel chipset and vivante/malli gpu
Can we port roms between phones with same processor but by different manufacturer.???
I have Xaiomi Mi4 and Galaxy S5 and both models have same Snapdragon 801 processor. So will I be able to port Touchwiz rom to Mi4 and also MiUi rom to S5..???
Can any developer help me here.
Yes but it's a really difficult because of differences in all phones (I mean software one obv)
Is it possible for the j5 prime g570m and its variants to be supported for some custom rom, such as lineage? What is missing for this to happen? I want to help in some way

I also wanted to have a LineageOS for J5 Prime, even if it was an unofficial rom, at least on Android 8.1. Too bad few people saw this post

Have you guys contributed to a developer to make this happen? Obviously not.
You need to find a developer who has experience with that chipset. Basically find a Dev who makes ROMs for exynos 7570 and ask if he will build for you guys and preferably give him a donation.
There is no difference between unnofficial and official builds except that official builds are just added to the website thats it so I dunno what you mean by "even if its unofficial"
Its not a popular chipset thats why nobody has built a rom for this device and probably nobody will coz you guys aren't contributing a bit so what you expect.
If all of ye put the time in this is a great video series on how to build for yourself but there is hours and hours of videos to watch. Maybe someone who really wants this will build for you but a Dev would probably have to own this device before building anything https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...-to-build-custom-roms-kernel-t3814251/page139
