Iam runing DK28 an hearing EB13 is the same as DK28 just named differently! Should I update?

Why do you want to stay on an unsupported stock leak when we have an official update now?
And roms will be out shortly. If you are waiting for them, then there may be no big reason to do the stock update right now. But if you aren't, then there is no reason to stay on dk28.
Yes. |
I see! However what about all the problems people are having after updating to eb13. I'm afraid if I update I will get the same problems concidering I dnt have any now runing dk28

If you want a different build name go for it.

I'm currently running SC 2.5 NV
and an wanting to flash SC 2.5 V.
Just wanted to make sure that it is "safe" to flash the voodoo package, from adrylnalyne, over this?
Would be doing it through red cwm.
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA Premium App
Yes that's fine...just don't do it the other way around without disabling voodoo first

I'm running synergy 5.0 but I am using the ec05 modem does the rom default to eb13 or does the ec05 modem actually work?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
No, synergy doesnt touch the modem when flashed, so you'll keep whatever modem you had before you flashed

Its called lag, flash a kernel with lagfix, enable lagfix, job done, no more lag!

try using sgs kernel flasher from the market edit. If you are soft bricked then easiest solution its to reflash your rom, though in this case as you bricked with a lagfix you will need to make sure that you use a pit. file too in order too repartition your sd card, don't panic, fixable

What im thinking is I wiped internal data using recovery mode which whoops deleted clockwork recovery lol so I cant flash the cmw files so im going to get odin and reflash stock 2.2 with speedmod kernal which should do the trick

100+ apps / no custom kernel / just root / odex -> no lag at appdrawer
jvq ofc
Flash this in CWM if you just want to update your modem while on BML and with the EI22 modem. As long as you have the EI22 modem and are on BML partition you will not lose any data or root.
Thanks to Wtogami for editing the script to say EL30.
Thanks to Bubzx for testing for me.
CM7 nightlies >12 and any other MTD kexec supported kernels which is just about all go to the following thread and come back here for the modem flashables:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21793717
For those on MTD and not kexec supported you need to go to EC05 and repartition, Chris41G has a prerooted tar here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021305
And Odin 1.85 here: http://www.multiupload.com/S65EJFWRHE
And Tortel1210 made an EC05 to EL30 flashable here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21669228&postcount=477
EC05 modem for Odin in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1123103
Ill try fer ya

Yes or flash the update.zip before rooting and get the whole update modem and all.
While I was on a custom rom, I was able to upgrade my modem from EC05 to EI22 on BML. Now I'm on MTD. Is there anyway to just upgrade EI22 to EL30 without using ODIN?

You are welcome. I was so excited to get it out I didn't put proper description in OP. It is there now. Remember CWM script still says EI22 if someone knows how to edit the script to say EL30 as it is updating it would be great.
Will this ever be flashable on MTD? I'm assuming no but wasn't sure if its just a script conversion or what?
