try sending "slideshows" as opposed to pics. don't attach them directly as pics.
Increase the sending size

Data.... everything else works fine though

Sounds like a problem with the app. Clear gmail cache data and see if that works. Also check your settings in gmail for anything that would prevent you from sending mail.

Make sure you clear your caches when going to a new kernel, always good to practice safe flashing lol.

I'm not rooted yet but I've been having issues with my Mytouch deleting all my text messages every week. I was originally using handcent then went over to using GoSmspro and I'm still getting the same issue; even after fling a master reset and swapping to a newer Mytouch. I can't inside what the problem could be. Insight?

In the stock messaging app... not Gosms pro hit menu button setting uncheck delete after 200 message or so.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA Premium App
That was already unchecked but I checked it and unchecked it again.

There is potential for the messages database to become corrupted and all stored messages disappear, however this is a bug in the android os itself and is not for specific phones

As previously stated there is no option on the stock messaging app, however it is possible to attach a contact card. If your friend is using it for business they would be able to attach a contact card with their information on texts that require it.
I saw on the new sidekick the messaging app lets you message a group then when someone replies everyone gets the reply. Does anyone know where I can get that apk or a similar app to that? Thanks in advance......

Why would you even want that? Anyways, I believe the mt4g already makes group messeging.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
I want it because when I'm trying to set up an event everyone can see what's going on so I don't have to send all these messages

I use to use GoSms but I had a problem with mms sending.
Switched to Handcent And fixed the mms problem.
What is the best sms app for you and WHY??

Handcent hands down. Been using it since before I was rooted.
Easy to use, spell check, customizeable, batch mode...

go sms. I used to love handc but now go FTW.

It was a tough choice but I had to go stock because both had problems of there own but if I had to pick again it would be go sms for their interface design

I like Handcent for the customization factor and easy to use UI
I used to love handcent. But it was laggy to me... Just wasn't fluid. Tried out go sms and loved it. Sleeker look and much faster IMO. Not as customizable as handcent, but I'd say its 80% there. I love it!
