Since the Epic uses SAMOLED and the pixels are self-lit which uses more energy when displaying white, would there be anyway to modify the browser to display white text on a blackground as default?
I was also wondering this, there is an add on in dolphin HD but having a browser that does it would be easier.

The browser is only capable of displaying one type of font no matter what fonts the webpage uses. Is there a way to make it display the proper fonts intended by the webpage?
I have both a Touch HD (Blackstone) and a HD2 (Leo) with stock ROMs and I noticed that the letters on the home screen of my HD2 are slightly unsharp compared to those on the older Touch HD.
The difference is even visible in screenshots of xda-users who have posted their screens of the two phones (check the corresponding threads on xda).
There, you can compare the sharpness of the letters in for example quicklinks text between the screens of the two phones and you will notice a slight difference where text on HD2 is slightly blurrier that the one on Touch HD. The difference is quite noticable when I hold the two phones next to each other. It is mainly the case with white text on black background throughout the sense tabs where text is blurrier on HD2 than on Touch HD, whereas there is no difference when reading for instance email (black letters on white background) or browsing the web in Opera (colors).
Can someone confirm this difference and explain it? Does it have to do something with HD2 resolution and its big screensize, compared with Touch HD that has the same resolution but on a smaller screen?
The AOSP email app running on my Droid X (ApeX 2.0 RC2) has white text on a black background for all its screens except the email messages themselves. Is there a theme or a way to have all the screens in this app show up as black text on a white background? I realize it uses more battery, but it's a lot easier to read when one is in a hurry.
Any guidance is appreciated...
Is there a way to make applications resize without getting smaller text and bars? Like how it would look on a phone, but stretched out on the screen. I would prefer larger text for what I am using it for.
I just recently got my Note 3 last week through At&t and I'm highly satisfied. I have a question that I have not found the answer to yet. The phone, contacts, and message screens are predominantly white with black font. I kind of have a hard time with this due to my bad eyes. I can see better with a black background with white font. Is there a way to change these screens to black? I have watched some YouTube videos and see people with black backgrounds And White font in these screens. Help please.

i have a n9005 branded voda phone.
its overall colour re dailer, messages ,contacts is standard a darkish blue /black with white letters.
so it seems it a carrier thing .?( your colour white with black font or did you by accident enable a wrong settings ?)
one thing, have you tried to go.....settings /device/accessibility then scroll down to negative colours (reverse the colour of screen )
if i tick it my dark screen will be reversed to white etc..etc untick and i have darkscreen with white lettering
there is also other very good settings on that page eg..font size ...short cut
