The link probably won't show up below..
But going to the link provided by samsungmobileusa in their GPS Fix App twitter post.. they show screenshots from the captivate showing the new google search widget which i believe is only on 2.2.
Just sharing what i noticed. Hopefully they roll it out soon for Vibrant owners.

I read that it would available for the Nexus, and I'm pretty sure I read it on the google home page for the nexus last week when I ordered.
Did I misread?
its available for download from the android market. just search for google earth.
I don't see it in the market...confused.
I don't see it in the market, strange.
He's messing with you. Not available yet.
You guys haven't downloaded it yet? Wish it had multi-touch though..
Well, I see how some of these "Senior Members" get their posts up, by posting BS.
Thanks for the info that it is NOT available yet.

Yup.
The one shown in the press conference was just a demo.
Should be coming along soon if you believe them.
(Posting the obvious)
Google Maps is equipped with satellite imagery, to hold you over until it's released.. they're essentially pretty similar.
Google Earth is in it's testing/beta phases still within Google, DogFood as they like to call it. It hasn't been released to the general public yet.
I watch a lot of videos on blip.tv on my computer and I noticed they have an android app and the download link only shows up if you visit http://blip.tv/app
The page tells me congratulations you can download the blip.tv app for your vibrant, even though I'm using the Epic. However it doesn't show a link anywhere on the page.
I'm wondering if one of you vibrant users might be kind enough to visit the page on your vibrant and copy the download link.
Thanks!
I know one of you is sitting there reading this with a Vibrant on their desk.
Come on just pick it up and go to blip.tv/app and get the linke real quick. Pleeeeeeeeeeease?
Couldn't grab the download link but got the file.
you the man. I've been scouring the hell out of google for that.
Just asking for a little help here, and I'd be grossly disappointed and shocked if the XDA community hasn't figured this one out by now. Apparently many people have been unable to download the beta version of the Weatherbug App for Android Tablets. And though Weatherbug claims (on their website) that this beta is ready for us to download and enjoy, and even though the Market has it and is supposedly ready for download, the Market will not recognize our tablets as being compatible. HOWEVER, I'd be more than willing to bet my precious Xoom that someone on here has already found the apk of this beta app, and if so I'm hoping that they'd be able to post it, or a link to it, ASAP. Think of me what you wish, but this is by far the app that I'd been looking forward to the most with my Xoom, as an avid weather nut. I'm fully confident that someone in the XDA community has an answer to this already. Thanks!!!

Yeah I am aware of this, but I figured I'd still post it here as I knew it would get more exposure here. I fully expected it would get moved, but in the mean time more people will see it here than in the Apps section

UPDATE (4th April 2011):
We are now at ~7600 mark.
We're starting to slow down from our initial boom, so I have now set up a Facebook page to see if we can wrangle in some supporters that don't use Twitter or XDA.
I will need your help getting this out there. So share the facebook page where you can.
Motorola is now aware of the petition!
https://supportforums.motorola.com/m.../355098#355098
Unfortunately we have had a few setbacks with Groubal the provider of the petition, but that have been absolutely fantastic about working with us to keep this petition in the forefront.
They have been hacked sever times, but it was as a result of an SQL bug that has affected over 690,000 other sites on the internet.
The site is now bug free and completely restored

Yeah, of course Moto's gonna unlock the bootloader after we signed this petition.
But even if it doesn't help: I signed it.
Its worth a shot. Ty for signing it
Used my fascinating voodoo powers
I signed it, too.
Signed too. Lets give it a try
Thanks to everyone for their support. Motos ways are bleeding off onto other manufacturers. Thunderbolt and the new samsung have signed bootloaders now. We have over 6500 sigs and hoping engadget will pick this up. We will hopefully succeed in letting these manufacturers know that we wont stand for it.

6700+ signatures now and counting. Let's aim for 10,000!

Corrected link (I think): https://supportforums.motorola.com/message/355098#355098 (the [...] is for display only - clicking it actually leads to the forums)
updated OP all links should be correct now.

Updated OP and fixed links.
We’ve managed to score a system dump of the Facebook phone! There’s nothing in it that’s too earth shattering, and you could probably guess most of the features, but, since we’ve got it, we might as well take a look at it.
[This is not an April Fool's joke. I promise.]
Now, this being Facebook, nothing really works unless you sign in. The problem is, all of this is pre-release, so it’s set up to only work for Facebook employee accounts. Everything is basically packing unintentional always-on DRM, so screenshots are going to be a little sparse.
Source
And this system dump isn't available anywhere for download, right ?
(And yes I read the articles; No download URLs I saw.)
Yeah so........ you have the system dump but you're not going to share it with anyone???
Who are you talking to ?
Nobody here has it AFAIK.
One of the sites had an article author who had it, but AFAICT he hasn't released it and it hasn't otherwise been uploaded anywhere known.

Well obviously since the OP says "we have a system dump." I was probably talking to the OP genius.

He quoted from the source linked.
When the thread is in the development section with the title apk breakdown exclusive, it kinda leads me to believe there is a download link and apk.
Should of been posted in general section to not confuse Facebook home fans.
