Anybody having any trouble with connectivity? I'm using a TMo MDA with the 2.26 rom, and I am able to connect to everything just find. I can send/receive email. I just can't connect to messenger, and I was able to when I first installed it. It attempts to connect, but always fails. I'm not using the proxy or anything like that, so I'm kind of at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The exact error it gives me is "We were unable to sign in to Messenger. There is a problem with your internet connection."

im getting that same exact problem for almost 2 weeks now =S
i have to go back to pocket msn >.<
Apparently the server is down for maintence.
Will be no connectivity for a little while longer.
but...
cannot access via pocket msn but can connect via agile messenger...??!!!
Yes, they have had to take down the windows live mobile servers to allow for upgrades to be made to it. There are apparantly new features being added which would cause problems with the older version of the software. Normal service should resume later this week, along with a new release of the software.
From the Microsoft Connect Newsgroup...
"Currently the Mobile 10.7 program will be down for 7 days while new beta bits are being pushed for everyone to install. So please wait patiently this week and then everyone will be able to install a new build!"

Ah. That makes sense. Thanks guys.
I can't connect msn using my lg ks20 for the past 1 week. Previously was working fine. Hopefully some kind soul can advice me on what i can do?
I've already hard reset, no 3rd party programs. Wifi using my home router, no issue surfing internet. Only have problems signing in to messenger.
Is there anything wrong with my hp or problem lies on live messenger?
This did happen to me a while ago and it might be because of your WLM version. Get the latest version and see if that gets it going.
Have you guys had this problem? I am up to date with windows live. Occasionally, it says it is connected but it isn't, and i know this because none of the contacts come online or offline and signing off does nothing... I have to soft reset to get it to work again. Also on a related note, after that when I try to sign in at home on my PC, MSN keeps signing in and then disconnecting instantly. I do not know if there is any correlation... This only started happening in the past few days...
Hmmm i downloaded AgileMessenger and was able to log in properly. Afterwards my desktop messenger started working and has stay connected again... Interesting....
Hi there,
I have been using palringo on my hd2 for msn for a few weeks, very awesome application, love it.
since 2 days ago I encounter this problem, it takes very very very long to connect to msn, palringo connects in a click though. then after it says connected, my contacts are empty, and I checked ppl can't see i online
any suggestion?
I tried hard reset, remove, reinstall, have the latest 2.3
thanks
now it keep saying gateway disconnected anyone can help please
Ya same here on both of my HD2 phones. Try the palringo forum. Might be an outage.
Hmm my MSN, AIM and Yahoo accounts are all connecting just fine... For now.
I do get aim disconnections a few times during heavy use but nothing major.
Hey all,
After logging on msn, my phone signs out automatically after a short period of time of not using MSN. This is something i want to fix, but can't find any options or settings to do so. I want to be perma logged.
However this is not the issue, the issue is, after my msn logs of automatically, i can't sign up anymore. It either stays trying to sign in or just gives me a message that there are problems with my connection (internet still works when this shows up) and that i should try later.
The only way to fix this, is to reboot my phone. After a while this becomes very annoying and i can't figure out the cause. And of course, after rebooting, msn works but if i don't use it or the phone goes on stand by, this problem reccurs it self everytime.
Anyone that can help? thanks.
Some info on the phone
Unbranded
Manila : 2.5.19211519.0
ROM: 1.66.404.1 (NLD from htc website)
Radio: 2.06.51.07
I have never done any flashing or fancy stuff on this phone, i don't got the brains for that, i only updated the rom once.
That's a known problem wih no solution, just forget the original MSN and use Palringo.

Second recommendation for Palringo, as Beejive support for Windows Mobile has ceased.
I am having issues with Palringo though. After using Palringo Premium for several months, I have started having a problem with it on my HD2, unbranded using T-Mobile UK.
It connects to Palringo servers, logs into my various messengers and then stays connected for about 30-60 seconds, disconnects from Palringo then reconnects up.
This happens when on WiFi or cabled up to my PC using my home internet connection or using G/3G/HSDPA phone connection. Palringo forums seem to be devoid of help either.
First time in several months that Palringo has became an issue for me and my case seems to be isolated.

Oke thanks for the heads up.
I was told to use ebuddy, but that requires Java i think. I believe the HD2 has that, but i can't get type any login information on ebuddy. When i press on the keyboard, no letters appear on screen. So i guess it is a Java issue or something, because i can't get any java games to work either.
