Yes, I got the dreaded cracked screen after I dropped my device. Can someone tell me where I can buy another screen or a replacement one. I have been on EBay and that did not have any luck.

if its any of the xda's 1,2 or S, u can buy it from www.pdasmart.com . Efficent service and the cheapest ones as well.. but mate if its executive or jasjar..then u r screwed..cause i broke mine few days back..n i got a replacement from imate at a cost of $180.

ok today was a great day I found a place in US that will fix JasJars broken/cracked lLCD Screens. $250 = new screen and they install it.

I am not sure how much they are selling for, I am not even sure any of the couriers (Cigualar, Tmobile, Sprint) even have them on their radar to start selling them. I was one of the lucky ones at a Microsoft PDC and bought mine for $150. I can tell you after I broke my lcd I worked with IMATE for a repair and they wanted $200 for a new LCD, but they could not tell me what the labor charge would be and I would have to pay for shipping to and from United Arab Emerates which from the TNT shipping company looked to be $80 each way. So I saw $200 + Labor charge $50 to $100 + 80 + 80 = $410 or $460 and did not feel the device was worth that.
I did put in a "Want it now" search in EBay and everyone wanted $200 or more just for the LCD panel
My thought was I was having a heck of a time 3 weeks to even find anyone who would sell a LCD or fix the device themselves. I tried many places in UK and Canada with no luck. This place was in USA (so i could bug them easier on what was happen) and seems to have a good reputation on the web.
OK so after giving this a lot of thought, I decided to go out and purchase an iphone. It will better suit my needs down the road, and when the 3g model comes out I'll get that. So with that said I'm looking to sell my advantage. It has the AP4 rom and radio 1.57 installed on it. It will come with a 4gig mem card 2 soft pouch style cases and a Think Outside bluetooth mouse. The original case I no longer have(I used it for something else). I have all the original packing it came with. I'm looking for $625.00 for everything which includes shipping. I will only ship in the US and will accept payment through paypal. Anyone thats interested can PM me and I'll send some Pics. I'll also add some pics here once my camera is charged. This was a spur of the moment decision so hopefully I wont regret it.
On a side note I also have a sling box pro which I will no longer need either. I'll let it go for $145 which will also include shipping.

The unit also has a screen protector on it at all times. I kind of anal about my screen and scratches, don't like them...

Read the instructs for the camera regarding focus!
I have played around quite a bit with mine and this is what I do:
1-depress camera button on upper right side slightly,it will focus
2-push the joystick(straight in) upper left front and it will take pics.
You can go to settings menu to adjust sharpness also.
Give it a try.

all i was saying is that the pics you posted here
are blurry/out of focus thats all, not about the
htc camera.
you probably used an old digi cam to take the pics

Guys this picture shows the only blemish on the unit(if you can see it). It's a small mark about an 1/8 of an inch on the corner just above the joy stick other than that the unit is mint...

I made the earlier post when i was finding difficulty finding one at a reasonable enough price, noticed there were a few people on here who have had such difficulty finding these digitizers and i've since been in contact with a person from shenzhen who is willing to sell me a small batch (their normal order quantity is 100) of 5 pieces the price i have given is the price i am paying plus £3.00 for the postage from my contact to me
i can assure everyone this is legitimate, i will post pictures once i have them in my hands

Don't know where you can get the US version but that is definitely the EU version. The easiest way to tell IMO is to look at the audio connection point, The EU has a cylindrical bulge as it is closer to the back edge. The US version lacks this bulge because they moved this connection point towards the front of the phone. GL on finding it. Post it here if you find a source as others may be looking.

The only problem is they are $88! They also have the digitizer/lcd's for a whopping $179.00
Dealt with them in the past for Kaiser stuff - out of Hong Kong but shipping was pretty fast and their products are real HTC OEM.
I'd rather just pay the extra 6 bucks a month for insurance...

When I posted that link for the HD2 with the broken screen, it was $.99. I wouldn't pay more then $50.00 for it but I am notoriously cheap.
I found one that might be a T-Mobile US version. It doesn't have the butt looking thing sticking out on the back. For $18, it doesn't look too expensive either.
