I can make one if you dump /system for me and get me zimage(kernel) & modem you want. You will have to use noobnl's recovery to flash it. I use it all the time but wipe features dont work and the screen blinks but it works to flash roms.

It can only got into "Download mode" after I flashed it with Euro and Asian Firmware.
I'm very very worried about it.

I'm in China. Actually I don't know what the "Magaic word" is. I never found I should use "Magic word".
My trouble is that , I failed to flash my Verizon Tab with any ROM found over the internet, Euro, Asia,and USA.
I flashed it using Odin1.7. When I flash it with full ROM(PIT,PDA,CSC), the CSC file cannot be flashed successfully.
It stops at movirand.mst (observed with Odin).
So, anyone could provide me with full ROM suitable for Verizon Tab?

Not that this helps you, but in general flashing a ROM for a GSM device on a CDMA device is a bad idea, and often ends in brickage!
Your device sounds recoverable though, if you can get hold of a Verizon ROM. However, don't post on loads of threads asking for the same thing because that will just end up pissing people off and be less inclined to help (even if they can!).
Now, as far as I'm aware there are no "official" ROM packages in the wild for Verizon Tabs. This means that you are going to have to create one, or wait until an official package tips up.
If you read this thread from Rotohammer, it details how to create a complete system dump from a T-Mobile Tab and turn it into something flashable - either via Heimdall or Odin. I would imagine that the same process would work with a Verizon Tab.
So, you are going to need to find someone technically minded, who has a Verizon Tab, who is prepared to make a system dump for you.
Might be worthwhile posting again on this thread.

This is a dump from a never booted phone from Telus Canada. It should work with other phones, I've been using the 1.401.12 roms without issues.
Hopefully this has something people can use. This rom is clean, doesn't have any bloatware or anything.

There is nothing in here other than a TWRP backup... Not sure what AV you are using, but you are the only person who mentioned anything...
Sorry, I should have been more clear. There doesn't appear to be anything in the rar but the download link takes you to a site that insists on wanting to download other software and that's where the threat is detected. NOD32.

Have been reading this forum for a long time and it has helped me out many times in the past and for that I am grateful to you all. I am relatively new to the s4 but I have a galaxy tab and am comfortable with flashing and using command line utilities and all the goodies that come along with them. (Toooo comfortable lol).
My dilemma is as follows. I stupidly moved some "bloat" apps from system to user and forgot before I was forced to do a factory restore. Now certain items such as optical reader and other apps are gone. I have looked for the carrier specific rom from fido but can not find it. Could someone please point me in the proper direction?
Also what's the most stable and functional rom that can dual boot for the sgh-i337m.?

Go to sammobile.com. You have to register but it's free. They'll have the stock firmware specific to your device and carrier.

So I've been getting kind of angry that T-Mobile hasn't updated the phone to KitKat and I tried something on my own. Flashing the MetroPCS KitKat software version on my device via Odin. Guess what? It worked. The only thing was that after it updated all the apps, it installed some MetroPCS bloatware. I don't mind that but this is awesome that I was actually able to install the SGH-T399N software on the SGH-T399. Try it for yourself and let me know how it went for you.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that would brick my phone since that's for the SGH-T399N. I have the SGH-T399. Oh and BTW I know they are both pretty much the same, but if I were to flash that, it would probably screw up.

Well the phone still has random reboots which is problem with phone im sure. But u root and flash twrp recovery and everything else is flashed in twrp then.

I think there's a storage mount file you need for kitchen, I wrote one if you need it just ask (i have it in my linux partition, which I'm not on now).

If you don't see enough development for this phone now and don't want to wait, then don't buy it. Don't flash something not made for your phone unless you have a backup.
Other than that the phone has a well balanced spec sheet for the price.

It's a bit of work..
Basically you need to extract system.ext4.win from backup and create a system.new.dat and create a zipped package

It definitely works. I did have to call virgin and get them to walk me through how to restore my service which was as simple as updating my profile. Other than that though, all went well. Thanks a lot.

Many thanks! I rooted, then used Titanium Backup to remove some bloatware and to integrate updates into ROM... but for some reason most of the apps that supposedly integrated into ROM were simply deleted, including launcher, keyboard, and play store.
This got me back to stock which I rooted, and now am working again.
can't seem to get it to work. boots up and everything but i get to the wifi setup page and click my network and it goes onto to "checking connection" page then says "couldn't connect to the internet" i've tried skipping and it says the same, no luck. any ideas?
Works great on my VM variant of the xt1548. Great way to return to stock experience after testing or tiring of custom builds. Using a Data Done Right VM variant with the free unlimited data "loophole". This ROM maintains connectivity to the loophole with just a couple build.prop edits. Great work.
