I need a starting point and I can't figure out how to do it. I have tried with an always on top transparent activity but I don't think this is the solution.

I would like some help.
Part of my Prophet screen doesn't work anymore.
This means aligning is hell.
I would like to squeeze some more life out of the thing ...
Especially with guys like Gullum, Cloudifa, and all the other ones ...
I have already found out the registry key is
HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH\Calibration settings
I have only found values for elf, atom and others on the net.
But they are not yet as close to Prophet (atom is OK except for the far right side of the screen (scroll ...)
Could someone please be able to give me the values on their prophet ?
Want to post it instead of messaging directly to keep this on the forum for others.
If I should have missed an earlies posting woth the settings, sorry, please then redirect me.

These values are unique to each device. If every device was the same, there would be no need for this!

I know about the unique settings, but with your prophet settings I can try to come closer thn woth settings fora completely different device, and maybe tweak a bit more myself through remot registry editor.

You need a registry editor. If you just want to realign the screen, hold the windows hardware button and then press the centre d-pad button.

tnx...but my PDA doesn't allow to finish the align screen process, one of the corners i can't align it...maybe phisical problem???

Maybe a hardware issue...
Try using a registry editor (I'd use this) to edit the settings using those above... May not be perfect but may help....

I have a P3400 i have a dead spot in the middle of the screen.
so i could't align the screen when i installed a new rom!!
i used a software called "remote screen alignment" from code factory to skip the alignment but of course the screen is useless bec it needs to be aligned.
i tried a mobile registry editor called "CE registry editor" to manually set the coordinates but it couldn't set the number i supplied..
how can i set the calibration data in the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH
and what are the values if someone have the p3400 please give me the values and tell me how to set them

This "dead spot" could be continually pressing the screen. This way you won't be able to calibrate your screen.
PS.: the touchecreen is very cheap (at least in ebay). So i advice you to change your touchscreen.

Tried to search the following question on the forum, but didn't succeed.
Does anyone know, if possible, to turn the screen counter-clockwise for the fixed landscape apps, particularly the youtube player. You know, so that the volume buttons are on top and the softkeys left.
I rather prefer a registry solution above programs like zensor or gyrator because it's not g-sensor related.

@ denniske, thnx for the link, looks like a great app, especially the bug fix for the title bar! I'm gonna use this.
But I still expierence probs on youtube with this program. The button layout gets stuck and the movie shrinks to half size or when in full size it falls half out of screen... How are your preferences in that app?

I also have this problem with 23569 (not 23563 or 21903). Does anyone know of a solution?
try to check services at startup, also this iussues could appears when you edit txt files for customization they should be saved, if I am not wrong, in utf not ANSI.
Also if you included run_cc in your rom this iussues could happen because of runcc starts customization at same time of welcome.exe.
There is program for it ,however ,I am wondering that there are lights in the control pannel which i think are better notifier.Anyone with me ?Will someone please complie a similiar app for this.It is very grateful to do that ....
