I know how to make shortcuts for programs and put it on the startup folder on WM 6.5, is there a way to make a shortcut for a webpage?

Hi Evertone,
I´m using cLaunch to create shortcuts on my today screen. I'd love to have a shortcut (icon) to settings.
Does anyone know how to do that?
Thanks in advance.
I'd like to know that too...
cLaunch and shortcut to settings
Not sure if you had worked this one out yet but I found the answer. Download iFonz onto your phone. One of the files in that app is called 'settings' and is a shortcut to the settings on your handset.
You can then copy the settings shortcut to My Documents (or other location of choosing) and link cLaunch to that file. iFonz can then be removed safely and you are left with your cLaunch shortcut.
Hi, I would like to know what kind of extension are the extension icon files in WM. Are for example settings.ico? The second question is, where can I get some icon files to change my folders icons? How can I asign or change the icons in my folders?
I need to make this change because I want to agroup apps or games and put then in the "All Programs" tab.
Thanks for your answers.
Hi,
while trying to rearrange my program screen (via creating new sub-folders and cut and paste the links to these new folders)
on the HTC HD2 I "lost" the icon for the HTC_Calender program
I now only have a white/blue general folder like icon now.
The link is working though, HTC Calender starts.
Anybody knows, how I can rearange the correct icon for the link ?
The icon itself seems to be apparent in the /windows folder
as HTC_calendar.?
Thx for help

Try a soft reset, if you haven't done one yet.
Install the program JWMD Icon Changer and find the calender icon and select it to load to default icon.
I just installed the official ROM for Topaz which brings us Sense 2.5. Now, I have changed all my icons on the whole phone to new ones but when I add one as quicklink in Sense it just shows the default one.
What can I do about this?
ArtieQ, you can find the icon path for the quick links in File Explorer->Application Data->HTC->ProgramLauncher. Those override the icons in the start menu. That would be one place to start. You could try deleting the default icon there and the icon you are using in your start menu should work. Be sure to backup/copy the default before deleting it.
The icons that don't show up is not in the ProgLauncher folder, why's that? Can't seem to fix this..
The way I've done it in the past is to delete the icon in programlauncher. HTC presets those icons to appear in quicklinks for the programs listed in that folder. All other programs use the icon in the startmenu. If you install new icons, they will not go into the programlauncher folder. So, if you see the icon you installed in the startmenu try deleting the associated default icon in programlauncher. For example, I wanted to use the google maps icon in the startmenu instead of the default one used by HTC in quicklinks. So I deleted the googlemaps icon in programlauncher and it then defaulted to the one in my startmenu.
I have some Mortscripts that I have as a quck link but they all show up with the same ugly script icon. Anyone know how to change these?
Thanks. I searched but couldn't find anything...
Im sure you have put the MS directly into startmenu, right? Make shortcuts of them which you put into the startmenu folder (just like you do with programs) and you will be able to change them.

Sorry but how do I "change them" actually. I understand how to make the shortcut in Programs but how do I actually change the appearance of the icon in Sense?
Ahh now i know what you mean (i think at least )
- Use p.ex. JWMD Icon Changer (and of course any desired icon png with resolution 128x128 you can find here in the forum or via google),
- Change the Icon,
- Clear all files in \application data\htc\proglauncher (because thats the cache for the shown icons, if u leave it nothing will change),
- Softreset your Phone
Now the icons should have changed
