Interesting, I have always gone for wallpapers that are 960x800 anyway as that's the resolution supported by my handset but good info.

Hello, anybody knows about a simple app which cycles (random, for example) in time all the Live Wallpapers you got installed? Tried searching in the Market and Google but could only find regular wallpaper changers... thanks anyway!

Thanks for the explanation! I finally get to understand why there are none. Any chance they will ever get public? I mean, is it just up to Google?

Resize it in Photoshop / gimp / paint.net to 320*480
Use [dodol] wallpaper maker or wallpaper set and save, from market.

I've tried resizing and everything it just gets blurry when smaller size when bigger size its clearer but the pic still isnt scaled to hd2 screen am i doing something wrong? is there an app that can claim non market pics and claim and get them to fit? i have all these epic pics but they look like **** unless i get wallpapers from market
thanks
your images should be 960x800
upscaling can make them look bad, make sure you are using a fairly big image to start with
You should check out an app from the market called "crop wallpaper ". It does what your looking for I use it all the time.

yea i downloaded that and a app called wallpaper wizardrii and they both work excellent only difference was wallpaper crop you have to select the whole picture and wizardrii auto scales the image to best fit but they both do the same thing so thanks again for the come up on that app ...

Has anyone figured out how to set a picture as wallpaper without it being all zoomed in and crappy looking? This is really annoying and the phone doesn't seem to have many options for fixing this

Use a HIGHER res picture! This will solve the issue!
I use the app "Wallpaper Wizardrii" and it usually solves all of my wallpaper woes.

This worked perfect thanks! I didn't think a 5mp picture from my old phone was too low of a resolution but also the stock photo crop tool when setting wallpaper sucks!
Use Wallpapyrus
