The only choice you have for a Froyo 2.2 ROM for the Aria is Cyangenmod 6.0. From the comments it looks like the nightly build from 9/3/2010 has been working the best.

Tom

[Q] miui?

Does anybody know about miui coming to the fascinate? or about any aosp based roms?
There is an aosp rom in alpha. This is a question for the general section.

Not until we have Froyo, or Gingerbread when MIUI moves to Gingerbread.
I hope we do, I loved MIUI on my Droid.
What is miui?
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
this is miui.

I don't believe there is an MIUI rom for ANY GAlaxy S phone right now.
Rockin' DJ05, Minimal Icognito, Clocked at 1.3Ghz
One could grab the aosp alfa and grab an old version off droidforums.net and try to merge them. The old versions used to flash over existing roms.

Actually the old miui was just a gui overlay...then they made it into a full rom....that's why i said to get the old version. And i wasn't meaning to just flash it....i ment for u to get someone to merge it.

[Q] Any other ROMs out there?

Are there any other ROMs for Aria other than Cyanogen and Liberated?

No, those are the choices. Take your pick: Android 2.1 (Stock or Liberated 012), Android 2.2 (Liberated FR008 or CM 6.1.1) or Android 2.3 (CM 7). What more could you want?

Maybe something with a cool name like the other phones have. You know all the other phone models that have a dozen or more kanged cm7 roms. Yeah that's right, I want the right to choose a kanged CM7 rom with the catchiest name. Then donate to the kanger using the included "donate" button.
to have more roms, make more roms.

Best ROM?

I'm looking to tryout new ROMs, I've only used CM 6.1, so maybe your opinions can help me find a new one! Looking for a fast ROM, but reliable, I have a 32b HTC Magic
Sent from my HTC Magic using XDA App
Depends on what you want.
Do you want a sense rom? I'd suggest senselx
Do out want an unofficial cm7 rom? Use dw9906's unofficial cm7
Do you want light and fast gingerbread? Ezgingerbread
I'm new to thisforum, what's a sense ROM? I don't want CM anymore because frankly, its pretty slow, is the gingerbread ROM any good?

Up to now, very stable and fast. With a good battery life.

I was a fan of DarkyROM since v8, but had to wait long for new release and ROM got buggy and unstable after using 10.2 more than tree months.
Now I'm on F1 Innovation HD 7.0 running on Semaphore 2.4 Kernel. I like the speed and stability. And one thing that I like most is stock look.
Waiting for stable and usable ICS ROM.

Appart from a few issues that can easily be solved if you already managed to install the ROM, it is absolutely ready to be used as a daily driver IMHO.
