Recently I updated my GT540 to Android 2.1 using the LG Mobile Support Tool from the LG website. Since then I found an issue in the updated OS.
In the Android Home, there is clock widget in the default home screen. I tried to remove this widget many times but it keeps on coming back after sometime. Is this a know issue? And Is there a fix available for this?

I don't have that issue... did you do a factory reset after update? many issues is fixed like that.

I did a factory reset before the update, and you could do it after too. If the clock keeps coming back then just flash your phone again.

I am running latest (24.03) nigthly build of cm10.1. For several weeks i am experiencing following issue:
After enabling of "Expanded desktop" on Homescreen or in AppDrawer phone launches the latest launched app I was using or, if there is no launched apps, simply opens multitasking tray.
This issue has appeared in some update after M2 experimental build, but when I flashed previous version which hasn't had this bug firstly, it was there again.
Anyone experiencing the same? Any ideas?
I have tried updating my F to three different, new Lollipop ROMs (for different reasons), and none of them will let me add Go SMS and a few other of my regular widgets to the home screen. Is there a general bug with this? I came from the first Lollipop ROM from around March or so and had no such problems with that. But it was getting so full that I couldn't even update apps, and there were a few other things that didn't work as they should, so I needed an update. I have the latest ROM Kies wanted to give me, which is from May, for some reason. There are several newer versions, but that was what Kies gave me. The Nordic update from June didn't help either. Any idea what this can be?
Try installing Nova Launcher and setting that as your default launcher, see if the widgets will add to the homescreen then
It's a million times better than the stock touchwiz launcher anyway

I am on CM 12.1-YOG4PAS7DF
I am not getting weather updates in the notification drawer and the cLock widget. Any fix for this.
Tried clearing data in cLock and enabling / disabling the setting option for notification drawer, doesnt helo

As far as I know you cant get it working on cyanogen os.
I would recommend you to install any cm13 based rom because it seems that there wont be any future updates for cyanogen os.
On cm13 based roms there is a wheater provider service where you can add yahoo or wheater underground as provider and set them in cLock

Will installing these apps help:

It says these apps require at least API level 5 or higher in the CyanogenMod build you're running. Dont know whats that

Our zenfone has become more unstable to those who updated to Marshmallow (like me). There are many issues like the gallery thumbnails won't show up and some apps aren't working correctly like the camera app and other applications. I've been searching for a solution. There are many people who have the same issue and until now, it has never been fixed. I've read multiple forums and fixes but it does'nt seem to work. I've tried all the solutions they suggested like: Factory reset and wipe cache the device, clear the app data, update the app and backup the files to computer and move again to my device. Not only my device (ZE550KL) is experiencing this problem but it is the same with othe devices like Zenfone 5, Zenfone Selfie, and Zenfone Max. I hope asus will fix this problem.
To those who have issues on their device after the update, please post it here so that we will try to ask for help and find a solution for that particular problem.

Try the latest version of the stock rom. I'm running that and it's OK.

Another problem found: deleted contacts keeps reappearing. Huhu
All the videos (youtube, hotstar, facebook etc) in my mobile are very laggy and looks like they are running in slow motion after last update (I think it was December security patch).
Is anyone facing same issue? any help?

I had the same problem after flashing one of the "optimized" stock based roms from here. I had some other annoyances too, so I decided to start fresh and installed the offical stock version for my region from:

Now the problems are gone.
I have stock android only.
Have not tried factory reset yet, will try that.
