Was wanting to install android 2.2 on my HD2, was wondering if anyone would either link me to a tutorial, or help, on installing Android 2.2 onto my HD2 with the 3.14 spl
Do you mean 3.14 ROM?
If you do then you've got a suitable radio (2.15.50.14) so just download an Android build and follow the instructions in the thread you get it from.
You just need a radio that is 2.08.50.xx or higher, but it MUST be a .50.xx radio, NOT a .51.xx radio.

I am looking forward to install Android Froyo 2.2 build on my HD2.
But i have concerns about which HSPL,ROM and RADIO to use as per the current configuration of my phone.
I am using stock 1.66 WWE ROM
Radio ver is 2.06.51.07
Manila ver is 2.5
I have heard issues in flashing ROMS on radio with .51.
I don't want to brick my phone with a wrong ROM version!
Please advise the HSPL,ROM and RADIO that works for Android Froyo 2.2 customization.

Looking at your spec on your HD2 all is ok except you will need 2.12**** radio the offset of this is of course a hard HSPL. Look at the forum for flashing roms and hspl as you will have to first change your stock hspl and then flash the new radio. I run the standard WWE build 1.66.
Can you let me know the compatable ROMS with Radio 2.12 and if it should be HSPL2 or HSPL3?

I have a HD2 (LEO 1024) ROM version 3.14.531.1 Radio version 2.15.50.14. I want to flash it to the offical russian rom. Can someone please post detailed instructions on how to properly flash it. I do not have HardSPL installed yet.
You cant. You have a 'tmous' or 't mobile usa' or 'leo1024'.
All official roms for teh regular hd2 are not compatible with the tmous. You can only flash tmous official roms (or tmous compatible cooked roms)
Go to the tmous section and see if there is a rom that includes russian.
Hi all,
I'm trying to flash a friends HTC HD 2 after succesfully having Android on my own. The problem is that the ROM version on his HD 2 is different from my own and I can't find any way to update the 1.66.404.1 version or to get a lower version like 1.66.0000 or lower to get hardSPL on it. HSPL3 does install and do give al the correct reports during install, but after rebooting, there is still that annoying Rom 1.66.404.1!

Rom: 1.66.404.1 (76641) NLD
Rom date: 01/14/10
Radio: 2.06.51.07
Does anybody have any idea?

First of all which rom version is on your own HD2?
An HSPL overwrites the existing SPL so you can flash different roms from another carrier or cooked roms. The 1.66 rom version stays also after flashing an HSPL.
I see that you're a new member here and don't want to give you to much difficulties because if somehting is going wrong you can brick the device.
So if you want to run android you need a 3.14 based rom (check HD2 rom thread) and also a good radio for example 2.15.
Easiest way is to flash the official HTC 3.14 rom with the newest drivers and radio already in it.
The phone is having a HSPL already so now you can flash every rom you like with the customruu. Check the HD2 rom thread, read carefully and after that you can run a nice android build.

I'm actually using the last official stock ROM (v3.14 with 2.15.50.14 radio ROM) so I have SPL 3.03
I'd love Android on SD but now I want to install MDJ's cyanogen build on NAND.
Can somebody tell me how to install HSPL 2.08 (as it is asked in all tutorial i've found) because with last stock ROM and SPL 3.03 it's impossible...
Should I "downgrade" to a official stock ROM with SPL 1.66 in order to be able to install HSPL 2.08 ??
Is HSPL really necessary ??
Could somebody explain me point after point what i should do ? or links to tutorials perhaps...

I want to upgrade my WM 6.5 ROM version 1.48.720.2 (71294) WWE Radio Version 2.05.51.05_2, I need to do that because i can not install ANDROID VERSION 2.2 on my HTC without doing this step first but i don't know how to do it.
All the softs i have found are for Radio Version 2.xx.50.xx and not for my version.
Please help me by providing me a site where to download this ROM upgrade

You have two options Just update the radio

Or check with your provider as the lastest Rom 3.14 comes with 2.15.50
Doing this will wipe your HD2 and you will need to install and setup any apps
you have installed
