Problem with words wrapping on the screen - Galaxy Tab General

When I receive a message in email the words are not wrapped correctly. For exam ple if someone typed a word and got to the end of the line normally the word would wrap around to the next line. Not the case. I have the att tab with the flashed europe rom. Any ideas?

I don't think words wrap in emails. They only wrap in browsers.

I know i pressed that key.

Its strange, when typing i end up missing out letters in words. The thing is i have watched the keys when typing and every one of them glows blue like it should, but yet there are letters missing.
Anyone else get this?

Yes happens to me. I noticed if I kind of drag the letter it won't register. For example if you hold down a letter till its blue, then drag away and let go, it wont register for me. If I lift directly upwards, it registers the letter every time.

I have problems where it double types a letter too. But it's usually with different keyboards than stock

Touch Screen Gloves

for $3 you can use your phone and keep your hands warm (i would imagine) Who knows if this really works, but i thought i'd post it here

Just ordered a pair. Ill report back if they work

They work, but poorly. It is like typing in the rain. Sometimes it doesn't recognize your touch. And your finger tips need to be pressed flush against the gloves to make the connection.
Better off getting something like those fingerless glove mitten hybrids

I have seen this before.
I saw them at 7-11 for $9.99 in their cell phone isle.
Give us a mini review.
Thanks in advanced.

you can also get them at five below for $3 and they have more colors.
anyone know how big these are? the ones at Five Below are made for 5year old girls hands. TINY !! I actually got them on but the fingers are not long enough to be really comfortable but they did work.
Can you post some pictures of the gloves, And also if the fingertips.

I have a bunch coming in from the mail. will post pics when I get them
the five below ones were your typical "knit" gloves with the ash colors finger tips. seems to work fine on the screen
Okay got mine in today, not bad they are the knit gloves that you would buy just about anywhere, local pharmacy, Walmart, etc... They do run small I have small hands and they are snug. I would say small-Med. If you have large hands I would not recommendel. Now I have not tried them in cold weather as it is still 50-60 degree here in the northeast. I can use them to navigate on my phone and use swype style keyboard with no issues. For 3 bucks with shipping I feel as if I got my money's worth. I will go to 5below and see if they are the same. Will also post pictures tomorrow

Galaxy S4 chrome paint suggestions?

Helloel everyone,
I tried searching to no avail. I have dropped my phone and had to sand down the front chrome bezel. I would prefer not to replace it.
Can anyone direct me to a specific model paint that matches? I bought a chrome paint but it's pebbled.
Model numbers would be awesome.
Thanks in advance

Sorry, I have not heard of any.
But is it insured or under warranty? If is is maybe you could get it replaced for free.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
Unfortunately I dropped the phone and it dented the bezel. I don't think it is warrantied.
Thanks for the reply.
I tried a silver model paint which looked promising..but it didn't stick. I also tried X-11 paint but it was too "speckly".
My last option is the chrome spray paint. I will be spraying it onto a plate and using small brushes to transfer it to the bezel. Will keep the forum posted.

I'm also looking to fix the small chips on the chrome part of my Note 2 before giving it to my mum. Gonna buy some paint from Halfords and see what happens. Damn plastic.

[Q] something weird with the stylus

hi guys
i just bought samsung gakaxy note 3 N9000 (exynos version) 2 days ago and i noticed something weird with the stylus
there is a certain area of the screen (to the right exactly) that the stylus doesn't write properly i need to press hard on this area when i try to write or scroll and sometimes it doesn't write even if i pressed hard
any ideas what could be the problem??!!!
the finger touches work normally only the stylus
i tried to record it but all screen recorders require rooting and i don't want to root this phone now
i took a screen capture by "Screen Write " feature with the air command .... you can see clearly the area that has no Red lines in the right of the screen
thnx all
Looks like a defect

thank you for your answer :good:
the problem solved by removing the case
i read on another forum that some types of cases interfere with the magnetic field of the stylus
weird :silly::silly:
i removed the case and the stylus is working fine now all over the screen

Do you have a case with a magnet?
Regards,
Dave
EDIT: Didn't see last part in thread! Doh!

ya the Problem was With the magnet in The Case
Sadly I had to cut throw the leather of The Case To remove the magnet
from inside
Better Than discarding the whole case
Thank you all for your answers :thumbup::thumbup:

Just to contribute.
I tested mine out. Smooth all the way left to right top to bottom. Effortlessly registered.

Any case with a magnetic latch causes this problem, happened to me in note 2 .that area of the screen is exactly where the flip cover magnet button is when the the case gets turned on itself

[Q] Making a Magnetic Flip Cover

Okay so I bought a cheap leather 360° Swivel cover that comes with a flip cover. I was wondering if it can be made into a "smart" cover by putting magnets on side of it.

Yes Yes it is possible
I made a book cover for my Galaxy tab 2 7.0
You can make one for your device and add a magnet to it. It'll work for sure.
Press thanks if I helped you.

If you want I can upload pictures of my tablet case that I made for my Galaxy Tab 2
I may make one for the Tab 4 as well.....
You can just put a magnet +- 1inch from the top left side of the screen.. did so with mine but ripped it off after a week coz didnt like carrying magnetic things
I have some Neodymium Magnets that I can use or are they too string. If they are can someone recommend which magnets to use?
