[Q] A few problems with Android on my HD2 and some questions - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hi, I am a new poster but have been lurking for a while trying to get my HD2 running Android properly in my spare time. I just started messing around with some of the builds and am running into the same problem of no data on many builds. Do I need to put on HSPL and update my radio? My current radio version is 2.10.50.26 and I have a Leo 1024 on T-Mobile US (there is a note in the HSPL thread that says it is not compatible with the 1024 Leo). Thanks for any help.

T-Mobile Rom Question

I just want to know if all these roms work for Tmobiles Hd2. I am new to Windows Mobile thanks.
No, they will not until a proper HSPL is released... not really a question of the ROM working but a question of being able to get ROM onto phone.
It depends wether or not you mean a US T-mobile or a Regular T-mobile HD2.
T-Mobile Usa

HTC HD2 Andriod Help

Hey there, i have just installed several roms for andriod on my HD2, however when i run these i get a black screen and the phone goes no further.. thes plenty of storage space on the SD Card, Is updating my radio safe & does it matter what network im on?
My current radio version is 2.07.51.22_2 Im on the Virgin network and i was wondering what would be the best update for my phones radio?
Regards Steve
Your problem is your radio it needs to end in .50 not .51 see

I had a 2.09 radio and changed to 2.14.50. After that change, all works fine.

to flash or not to flash to have android??

hi ppl, i read in some post that tmous users don't have to flash a new Rom or radio to run android.
i downloaded cmyFroYoMooStone.Bluetopia.v.0.6 but it gave me the green htc screen meaning no go for froyomoonstone.
anyone with custom 2.13 tmous rom and 2.10.50 radio running android can direct me to any android build compatible??
PS: i was thinking flash to 3.14 because users had say that it have a better radio and that android run smoothly with it but all i've read post with ppl complaining that the rom have issues, maybe not mayor ones but i'm having none with the 2.13 rom reason why not flashing the new updated rom
Thanks in advance

NAND Question!

Hi there,
I have got a problem. I have managed to changed my stock ROM from 3.14 to 1.66 because i wanted to NAND my Hd2. But the problem is after installing HSPL2 or HSPL 3 and then installing MAGLDR 1.11 i get white screen with HTC logo. I have read somewhere that it doesnt work with 1.66. Because i cannot find any different Stock ROM than 1.66 and 3.14 does it mean i cannot install it at all ? Thanks

keep 3.14 and flash yourself a radio which supports 576 ram (if your recent rom doesnt already contain such radio). the right radios have a .50 in its version
So i install 3.14 with radio .50 then install HSPL 3 ? then MAGLDR 1.11 and thats it ? I can continue NAND my HD2? Thanks for quick replay

i didnt flash a nand rom yet, but i think i read that you should use hspl 2.08.
basically it cant be wrong the way you posted, but check nand threads about proper installation.
i somehow managed to downgrade to 2.08 but it bricked windows. But then MAGLDR started up and i have now got NAND on my HD2. Thanks
Same problem
Hello, I recently got a new hd2 because my old one broke and it has the 3.14 rom preloaded on it, I can't find anywhere to download the older rom so I can load MAGLDR111 to load NAND android, can anyone post a link to older roms for US t-mobile HD2 or is there a work around to install MAGLDR111?
Thanks for quick response

well afaik you do not need to flash anything with t-mobile hd2, you already got a radio version which supports 576mb ram. why should you downgrade to an older winmo rom?
you're ready to go, so you can just go through magldr and android installation

Change HD2 with TMOUS HD2?

I will change my HD2 with TMOUS HD2 one. What do you think about that? I am from Eastern Europe, is this a problem?
Is there enough Android and WM6.5 ROMs for T-Mobile version.
Is it worth the whole, this change?
512MB ROM more
Yes it is worth the change as just about all, if not all, Android ROMs will run on the TMOUS. And most custom ROMs now are based on the 3.14 stock TMOUS ROM. I absolutely love my TMOUS. Just remember you can not flash a 2.04.50.xx, 2.05.50.xx, or any x.xx.51.xx radio to the TMOUS or you will brick the phone. So never ever flash a non T-Mobile stock ROM to it. Also do not flash the 2.01 ROM in the T-Mobile HTC HD2 test and stock ROM thread here on XDA to it as it has a 2.05.50.11 radio and will brick a TMOUS.
Are the Android builds for T-Mobile HD2 better than regular HD2?

You must know more about it then mecause I am notaware of any Android ROM that is spacificaly for the TMOUS. If it is please pointmy tothem and I will try them out. I currently am using Hyperdroid on my TMOUS and it is great. I went withHyperdroidas I did stood bit of reasearching on the Android ROMs and thought Hyperdriid sounded best to me, now that was just my opinion not a definitive statement. I have a link to it in my sig if youwantto check it out. Nowasfor your question most of the Android ROMs run great on the TMOUS fromwhat Ihave read. I am also member of the T-Mobile forums and every one therethathas went NAND Android loves any Android ROM they try.
