Upgrade to new ROM n Bluetooth

Hi All,
Before running the upgraded ROM, to enable ActiveSync via Bluetooth, I had to download and install a Bluetooth file from a site I can't remember now. After the upgrade I can't use ActiveSync via Bluetooth and am not sure whether I need to reinstall the same Bluetooth stuff as before as I thought the ROM had Bluetooth fixes in it for ActiveSync etc.
Has anybody else been able to connect via Bluetooth after the upgrade with no other files being installed ?

yes i use activesync via bluetooth at work and home using the new rom and installing no other software.
It was a pain getting it to work, and what i did in the end was delete all parterships in activesync and start again from stratch, that worked for me.

This is what i did:
I couldnt get my XDA2 to access the net via BT active synch until i went into start / settings / system / bluetooth settings / bluetooth active synch setup.
It then asks you to bond the XDA2 with your pc ( if its already bonded, delete it ) once done, you then click yes to let the XDA2 use the pc's serial port, do the same on the pc, and connect via BT as normal.
Works great !

A few questions How to...

I have a few questions about the WM2003se in Typhoon:
-How to save to a file system the Downloaded Attachments via POutlook EMail.(Any plugin available to allow this?)
-How to change the boot images
-When receiving a file via IR,the connection awaits the user agreement when the file transfer is finished. After this agreement is the connection disconnected. Is it any way to automatically agree/disconnect IR link when the file is received(some registry entry)?
-How to keep alive the GPRS internet connection all the time(disconnecting manually)?

Unable to use phone as modem with DCD 2.2.5

I am a Verizon customer using a 6800. I would like to use my phone for internet access on my laptop (I am presently using an aircard). I have no problem using Active-Sync, and with "Internet Sharing" I am able to establish a connection (USB / Data Network Connect). The installation directions for the phone call for Start>Programs>Modem Link and then Menu>Start. Unfortunately with DCD 2.2.5 I am unable to find Modem Link anywhere. Also, when I run the VZ Access Manager set-up on my laptop, it is unable to find the phone, even though "Internet Sharing" is connected. Does anyone have any suggestions??? TIA AARMD

it's a great program and i enjoy it

Tried it. It tells me WLAN is on and connected, but keeps "waiting for ICS" (whatever that means). I did read about, and install, IntShrUI, but it still doesn't work. Any advice??

How do i set my internet to authentication mode?
I have id and password. But how do i put them in the PDA and
connet to internet??

If you are talking about a WiFi connection then the device should ask you to enter the key after it finds the network. There is not much difference in connecting to a WiFi network with WM6.5, other than the new skin...

Its not just regular wifi. Its authentication mode.
Where you have to put in an id and a password.
Its different from other ntework keys where in other
ones you would just put in a passord with out an id.

You could read a Windows Mobile manual...
Try the Connection Tab under settings. When you've opened up your WiFi networks you can tap on them and change settings like acces mode etc.

where would this manual be?

I dont think a manual will help. Do you know the name of the authentication software used for connecting to this network?
Anyway try this program. Connect your phone using active sync and install it through the computer because there is no CAB file for this program.

First off, do you have Windows Xp, Vista or Mac?
If it's XP you must install activesync from here
Install it and connect your device to your computer using the USB cable or bluetooth. When a connection is established, open the file I attached before and follow the instructions to install.
If you have Vista, you need Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC)
If it is not already installed, download it from
here
Install and plug your device to your computer to establish a connection and follow the previous instructions.
If you have MAC, download the sync program from here
Install and follow previous instructions.

where can i access this program?

You cant see it installed. Once you turn on wifi, go to start>settings>connections>wifi and select the network you are trying to connect to. In the dropdown menu where you select the security type of the network, select the Securew2 instead of wep or wpa and then the program opens and you can edit the settings.

[Q][HELP]Using wifi and mobile data at same time

I have a 5.0.2 lollipop rom (latest fusion rom ver.5.1 build) . I have the problem whenever I connected to my home-wifi an it has no connection to the internet, I can't send commands to my htpc with kodi installed.
I checked my wifi connection with the Fing app. It says "No wifi connection,check our...", but the statusbar and the quicksettings tittle says I'm connectet to the wifi (with the "!").
I like to use my mobile date connection and the wifi connection at the same time (only when the wifi has no internet connection), to send commands to my kodi or access files from my server.
Is this a bug of the rom I using or is this the standard behavior of android.
Can I change this behavior?
(I found a script. My question for the script. 1.Can I use this for S4 and what shold be changed(I think the adapter names. Where can I find the names of the adapters). 2. Is there a (tasker) method to check if I have internet thru wifi or mobile when connected to wifi?)
