I think there's a link to an RUU file somewhere in this forum. Search around.

I saw the RUU, but I thought that was the RUU for the original 2.2. I didn't think it included the OTA update.

Ah, I don't think it does, but this forum has instructions for manually pushing that update.
I think someone around here also posted a nandroid of oem, so if you root and install clockwork recovery you can nandroid back that way.
I was hoping for a stock rom post OTA just so it would make it easier for me to attempt to customize my own rom. I wanted to make a senseless barebones version of the stock OS for myself. I'm very new to rom building so I figured a post OTA rom was the easiest way to start.

No worries, we just get A LOT of redundant questions on this board so it's a good habit to search first.
Please post questions in Q&A section.
At 25.11.2010 there is no RUU with 2.2.1 (build version more than : 1.14.531.1)
T-Mobile promises it, but not post yet

yeah guys i know a lot of you dont like noob questions where they dont put any effort into background research before they ask a question, so heres my question plus stuff ive found
i wanna know where i can find stock froyo ruu roms and ive found this place:
http://filespart.com/f/froyo-ruu-legend.html
and then i found this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=866867
where BlaY0 explains that "You have previous RUUs and OTAs so you can build the latest release yourself."
so does this mean i cant make my own rom using the ruu and kitchen or does it mean i can (optionally if its easier) build a froyo rom from the older eclair ruu roms.. or something? yeah i just need some explaining thats all
cheers

*sigh* ok well thanks anyway but that's not what I was asking
Anyways I've answered my own question as I just had a look and they've finally added a froyo ruu to shippedroms so thanks anyway.
EDIT: Ok so that froyo ruu on shippedroms is kinda broken lol uhh 4.4mb?? Anyways yeah that was my question if anyone still doesn't understand. I'm looking for the stock stock ruu roms for froyo legend etc etc and yeah. I might try that other site I mentioned earlier unless anyone has anything else to say.
EDIT2: Ok I found what you were talking about in the first place but I swear I couldn't see that before. Thanks anyways, I've noticed theres plenty of sources on the net if you type in the first few parts of the ruu file name.
Have the same problem... 2 weeks trying to find official froyou ROM for indian legend
I have a MyTouch 4g, and i flashed CM7 on it, but i want to bring it back to its original rom as how it came when i bought it, can anybody give me a link where i can get instructions or the download? Thanks!

Those are just radios. Nothing to do with the stock OTA ROM.
To the OP, I'm not on my home computer so I don't have the thread bookmarked here. Try searching in the development section for the stock ROM, shouldn't be too hard to find. Or someone will see this and link you.
I'm currently on Liberty v0.1 (.588) and would like to get to .596
Can I just flash p3droid's zip over my system in order to get it? I have .12P radio and all the other requirements, but I'm wondering if being on Liberty changes that.
Also, would I need to wipe?
Edit: Actually, would it be possible to flash CM7 over my current system?
Thanks in advance

No, You will need to SBF back to Froyo 2.3.340. From there you can install CM7.
CM4DX Post with install instructions:

Also, I had found another post for easy SBF back to Froyo:

Hope this info helps.

Thank you so much! I just wanted to confirm that I was reading that correctly. Also, I'm aware of how to SBF, I would just rather not have to go through it.
So just format system (and all of the others), mount, then install? No wipe?
Edit: Just read the second link Lofi Goosh posted. That is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

there is no reason to wipe cuz doing the formats take care of that.
In the words of GLaDOS...
Here come the test results: You are a [wonderful] person.
Hey guys!
I noticed that some of you were having difficulty upgrading/downgrading radios, so I make a thread about radios. I will also post the instructions on how to flash them.
At different firmware and different radio devices produce different effects, therefore, to achieve the required parameters (signal level, power consumption is to try different radio firmware. Flashed the radio at any time on any firmware.
Radio have a regional dependence is not important which method to sew through RSD CWM or fastbut, you still need to put the radio in your area, just not someone else's proshetsya. Radio for AT&T , all the other radio for the rest of.
When you install some firmware on your radio may not display the signal level, this is not anything terrible, the battery will not sit down quickly.

7z files is SBF inside, flashed only through RSDlite.
zip files is extracted and splited SBF inside, flashed only through CWM recovery.
CWM Method:
1. reboot to CWM
2. install zip from SDcard
3. Reboot

Sorry, but would have made more sense to get everything you needed before creating this thread, and actually have all the radio info posted. Thread is pointless until you have done what you say you are doing, is a waste of time for people who will now visit it, and the thanks you are receiving are pointless also, because all you have done is post that you intend to do something!
For a start maybe you can post procedure to extract radio.img from sbf

Well, point to a topic which has all the versions of the radio?
You intention may be good, but making a thread to point towards another thread is pointless... until you get your thread done, open it. These kinda "coming soon" threads are pretty useless.

I'll post all the night I have all the radio version, please wait not much
OP your intention was good thank you for doing this. But as others have said, just make sure to not post something until you have all your links and information set. And also, keep in mind we try and keep the clutter to a minimum so don't create a thread unless there actually isn't one related to what you're searching for or looking to do.
