try unmounting the SD card.

Did you solve the problem beacuse im gettin crazy trying to install skype with whole different versions !!!!
Please tellme what did you do ???

I had this problem happen just now and fixed it. You'll need to reboot into recovery and whipe /cache. After that it will install.

I've installed the original skype without any problem, but it can't authorize.

after transferring the apps, have you reboot the phone? if you've rebooted, open App2Card to see whether it is successful or not.
if there's no error message pop-up and the AppStatus: is showing "Locaton: SD CARD" then you're good to go.
to clear-up your internal memory, power-off the phone, remove SD card and boot.
(don't worry, it will boot) with something like the phone is reset. there, uninstall the apps that appearing in the list. (except App2Card) it will clear more space. (don't worry about the apps, it's already copy to your SD card).
once you've finished, insert the SD card and reboot.
then, click Menu>Wipe>Dalvik-Cache>Internal Memory
it will release some more space in your internal RAM.
hi thank you

Apps on SD

Is app2sd possible on flipout?
yes with app2card go here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=769803
seems to work but with some bugs, I just got back from the store with my new 16gb micro sd so will try it out now
I've installed ver. 2.6.2. It runs and wants to grant permission to system data and that's all. I can't navigate in the area of this app (like the touch screen doesn't work). I've tried 2.7.6 but can't be installed because of parsing. Any ideas?

Some of the apps cannot be installed on sd card. Like Google maps.
Try to install it to internal memory and see if solves the problem.

Might be the market is giving problem. Re install the ROM itself see if it's works.
New market does not work well at all

[Q] Insufficient Space for apps

I'm sorry if this has been asked already but I'm really new to all of this, I recently put the cyanogens rom on my HD2 and everything works fine but for some reason I can't download apps on the marketplace because it says Insufficient Space on device but I have a 16gig sd and 555mb still left on my internal?
go to your apps from the settings and move them (start with the largest) one by one to the sd card.

I've done that but for some reason it still says I don't have enough space is there anyway to make the sd the default place where marketplace downloads go to?
search the market for app2sd, you'll be notified each time you can move a new installed app to sd
Same issue
Im having the same issue. My phone says that i have used 19mb and i have 768mb free on the internal storage. But when i try to install something i get an out of space error. This is the first time that ive had this issue. ive gone as far as wiping everything with task 29 and starting over with a new rom. same issue. Any ideas?
Try to install a rom with ext support and create ext 2 partition with cwm recovery in magldr , it will work i think.
That could help:
1. Reboot into CWM Recovery
2. Advanced\Fix Permissions
3. Reboot

[Q] Have 571MB internal memory but still get low memory error

My HD2 has Android version 2.3.7, Kernel version 2.6.32.15_tytung_r14_callrec-g42b00bc. It has 571 MB available internal memory.
I have no problem downloading & installing small apps from Google Play but every time I attempted to download apps that are more than 4 MB (approximately) I would get the "low internal memory" error. As a result I can't install or update some apps (which are more than 4 MB such as Google Maps, Earth, Box, Shazam, on and on...) from my phone.
I ended up having to search the web for the .apk file and manually install them from the SD card, which is a real hassle. Even then most of them are either not available or up-to-date. Thanks in advance for any solution. And many thanks again to the folks who made it possible for the HD2 to use Android.

So installing them from the sdcard worked every time and didnt give you a low memory error? I was gonna say if you had apps2ext enabled. or data2ext to disable them. But if they load fine from your SD card then its not that. It seems like a problem with the market. Have you tried going into the Application settings and clearing out the Market cache? Or even clearing the cache and dalvik cache in recovery? Thats where i would start.
It installs fine if I were to do it from the SD card. I cleared the cache from Google Play and still no go, haven't tried clearing other caches yet. Don't know why the error when I have 571 MB available internal memory and 14 GB available on the SD card.
Try using MarketFix from the playstore to fix insufficient storage error.

I'm using HD2_NDT_MIUI_GINGER_2.3.7_DEVELOPMENT_V48.0. I'm an Android novice (jumped from Window Mobile 6.5) and my friend installed it for me. A very nice ROM I might add...user interface is much like the Iphone....clean and functional.
