Best Modem for Froyo? - Vibrant General

I've read you can flash the JI2 or JI6 modem on top of the current Froyo ROMs... anyone have opinions as to how the stock JK2 modem performs compared to those Eclair modems? I loved the battery efficiency of JI2 and was wondering how it's worked for other people.
Running Obsidian v5 w/stock kernel.

The JI6 sees the HSDPA, I do not believe the JK2 see's it. Can anyone confirm?

Tested in NY on Axura 2.0.3 running the stock JK2 leak

I am getting consistent results with 2.1 and 2.2 ROM's in that particular spot.

[Q] 2.3 and Baseband 2.0.52

Hello!
Ive got 2.3.1 0008. Works quite good. But Ive got BB 2.0.49 and some with Android 2.2.1 has BB 2.0.52. Can someone explain whats the differnet are and can I get 2.0.52?
i think the user SK_007 has that baseband... according to him its because of the way in which he flashed the MT kernel
If you flashed the latest update from DoComo to get Dual Touch, you have the 052 baseband. If you applied DT via Bin4ry's patch, you have the 049 baseband.

Just flash the amss.sin file from the DoComo firmware and you will now have that baseband.

IIRC, Super Clean 2.0-2.2 didn't include the apk for the program (might be wrong about 2.2 being the last without it... +-1). Some other roms might not have it as well, since it's not a Froyo feature. Stock and the latest versions of Super Clean should have it.
Thanks I forgot to mention it is for the superclean 2.4.
The screen capture feature is included in both DL30 and EB01. It is a feature of Froyo.
That is some good info I did not know. It's funny because I just download some SC apps earlier today. Then I seen this! Thanks for the 411

Anyone who is having battery drain on 4.3

Just an FYI -
I was having battery draining problems with my stock MK2 4.3 rooted. I had seen several forums with users complaining about the same thing. Long story short, I had messed up my phone trying to mod it and had to Odin a stock ROM. I Odin'd stock MJA, OTA updated to MK2 and re-rooted. The unexpected benefit to this was I how have outstanding battery life. I have absolutely no idea why this helped, but I figured I would share it so that it might help others.
I did pretty much the same thing you did and am noticing the same results.. Great battery life.. I had 4 hours of screen on time when it hit 5% last night ..Pics are of today's battery life so far...

I had to flash Audism kernel to get my WIFI working which was odd, but I'd prefer to go back to stock for my ROM.
Thanks

Hi,
Restore your nandroid of the ROM before you upgraded the kernel.
Did not make a nandroid...why not?
You should be able to flash the same ROM without wipe.
This will replace the kernel
