. . Rebuilt my phone the other day (no not literally!), anyway I thought I backed up everything but I didn't . . . same old story I suppose
. . . but anyway I had an sms tone which I can't for life of me remember where I got it from (thought it was xda but can't be sure) .. I've tried searching this forum but to no avail . . . looked in my download folders on my computer both at work and home, its vanished . . . I liked it hence posting here to try and get it back . . . I know its lame but still
Has anybody got a copy of the 'android squiggly' (best description) sms tone on them that they can post a copy of up here, I seem to remember its from a particular android build?
Any idea?

guys, I got trouble about SMS with my HTC . .
I've upgrade my rom into 5.2.19972 WM 6.1
there is a modification in reading and sending message, especially "manage folder"
1. how to save a SMS to another folder?
2. how to create a new folder?
3. how to unable the thread message or conversation display while reading a message?

I'm sorry if someone has made the similar thread . . .
If u are lucky u can jsut copy your pim.vol to your new system and softreset .. and voila u got all your contacts and corresponing pictures back.
But if u get a newer build that wont work anymore and u cant open the contacts .
so my idea .... a converter for the diffrent roms .
i read many threads about people "searching" for a app like this
anybody wants to share with me about "Touchflo" registry??
U know that our screen can scroll down/up automatically, but I've got something wrong when I edited some registry, my screen can't scroll up/down automatically . . .

The best way is to hard reset.
Its too time consuming to get one registry into another.

Well, let me tell you a tip to save all your softwares and games, always keep the .cab files in your storage card.
So after you hard reset, just install back your favourite apps.
Or another method which is way longer is, install all your favourite apps in your storage card than keep a copy of the bookmarks and when you hard resetted it, copy back all the icons back to the windows directory.
This other method is confusing, but you can ask me about guide if you want.

If I got full backup by SPB, Could it saved the message too?
Well, let me tell you something better than SPB.
Its by Microsoft and its called MyPhone.
Thats way better, as its stored on the web.
Can anyone shed any light on what I am doing wrong here ?
When I get an Outlook Mail with an attachment (googlesync) - I open it , and there is the link at the top of them mail , I click on it , it says "downloading" but does nothing - I can confirm there is no file downloaded as I have searched it from top to bottom !!
If I hold on the link , the "Save as" bar appears , but does nothing , it simply stays there until I tap it , at which point it dissapears .
I have tried 3 ROM's and it does the same in each one (now running the Vodafone 1.72 ROM)
I sincerely hope this is down to me and I am doing something wrong ! I don't mind making an idiot of myself on a forum if it gets me the answer and I am able to do this most basic (but essental !!) Task.
Any ideas ? or anyone else suffered this problem ?

I have been using my htc hd for about a year to listen to music, and half way through a song today it just cut out. I went to try and play another song, and error 0x80070649 popped up, and now my phone doesn't read my card. I then plugged my phone into the pc to see if it was the card, and my pc reads and plays all the files fine.
Any suggestions?

then i would suggest following ...
if you type in something like ...
"error 0x80070649 ? " or something similar ....?
........into ...GOOGLE SEARCH ..
you might get some results..or some clues ,as what is means ?

searching in google was the first thing I tried. No luck. I searched these forums aswell, with no results, so thought i would post.
