It's not to scare anyone away, it's just to empower new users with the ability to search, as you see Im not flaming the guy. There are some who would be a lot more harsh in their response. It's just that this site has a lot of info and it can be easily had with a simple search.

Ok, from the thread below you can download the official x2 rom, since lots of x2 goodies work on other devices it'd be nice to dum it, yet it seems it is encrypted differently than normal htc nbh files.....
So if anyone skilled and talented is interested go ahead and download it....and ofcourse keep us updated !!

The X2 bits released were from a dump from someones phone, not from the actual rom. This will be better as we might be able to get cabs/ oems from this.

Exactly as buchman said.....what we have now is missing lots of files which make stuff unstable....things would work much better out of a dump....you could have at least clicked the link before flaming....bffff

It's ok really simple misunderstanding, and btw the dudes down at the x1 forum are doing a gr8 job....rumor has it 88 cabs have been extracted

Yeah, where? I saw where a few people were saying those dates in the threads but
not any posts by a mod like Purple Heart. Of course I'm just using a translator so if someone speaks Chinese they can understand a lot more. Could someone do a translation of the first post of the thread? Google's translation sucks.
I only know that purple heart is an admin from 'DarkForce' forum.
I don't know if there is a relation between the forum and the DFT Team, and also which thread had said about the release date,either.

Oh WOW!! That's great news. Hopefully MS will never know about this and start patching those stuff. The least I would want is to start the fight against firmware updates just like with the iPhone, being that it was the main reason I got out of the platform.
