Is there a way (tool) to (automatically) synchronize the internal storage (xda touch diamond) to my hdd in activesync mode?
I don't want to switch my diamond always to hdd-mode, when I would make a backup.
Or is there a way to map the internal storage while in activesync-mode on a drive letter?
You can try this tool
Is there any solution?

Thank you for your reply.
This tool is interesting, and would be helpful if my xda diamond is in hdd-mode. But I am searching for a tool that could synchronize via activesync.
The perfect tool I imagine would synch all changed data on internal storage of the xda diamond to the hdd of my pc while activesync is active.
Is this utopistic?

I see you found a way. I use the explore function within Active sync.
There's also Mobsync for WM5 that allows you to synchronise any folder on PC to Device or vice versa Freeware:

thanks mate, i'll have a look at that one aswell
I have a Wing and an MDA and would like to sync my contacts and calendar. I know I can do so via ActiveSync with my PC or using PIM Backup and storing the backup on my SD card then transferring from SD card to PC to SD card.
My question is can I do so via IR/Bean or some other way without all the in between steps mentioned above?
I am only interested in doing this for my PIM data.
Thank you!

Thank you Papamopps. Just wondering - What do people use IR/Beam for?
Hi guys,
Does someone know how i can use my touch dual as a storage card.
What i meen is that when u plug to youre pc, that it can be used like a memory stick. Without activesync.
I know that this can be some phones, but i dont know how.
Thanks anyway.
Regards,
TMF
You can do it by "CardExpord" (Shareware)
But PC will see only Memory Card, it can't be used for internal phone memory
A tool for the same usage is nueMassStorage and this tool is freeware!
Search for it through the "Development and Hacking" subforum!
Heh, i didn't know about this tool.... thanks again
This morning I started to have strange problem ...
When I connects my HD to PC using USB cable, ActiveSync starts (in ActiveSync, not "Storage Card" mode) but ... in Resco Explorer my SD card folder is GONE
If I disconnect HD from PC and soft-reset, I'm able to see "\Storage Card" folder on HD. Connected through ActiveSync - it is gone again.
I did soft-reset, rebooted my PC - same thing.
Please, please, please help me.
depends how you connect to your PC - if you use the Activesync connection popup when you connect the usb then it should be there - if you use the Disk Drive popup it probably will not show.
untick the unnecessary folder file to sync
I'm using ActiveSync mode, not DiskDrive mode.
I'm only syncing Contacts and Calendar - as usual.
Any other ideas ?

Thanks for that thread. Currently I fixed the issue by inserting microSD into card reader, copy files to PC, formatting microSD it in my PC and copying files back. So far it works, but ... that is not good

Yes, this will attach the device.memory & your storage card to the computer. The storage card should be your last disk drive under removable storage in Windows 7/Vista.

In this mode I can see the disks but without access them (win xp), I m using this mode to play with "adb"....
so to make it active as disk drive I need open notification bar etc etc.. most of the time I just need connect to PC as disk drive, so whatever u do it's very annoing
Even in my 5 years old HTC P3300 WM I had this option
Is there any way to make it default as disk drive or application that will ask me what to connect with one press key?
I meant without open notification bla bla, I counted 4 presses till u
get it as usb drive:
1. shift screen right
2. open notification
3. press usb connected
4. again, connect USB storage
Fingers are there to be used. Don't be lazy. It's only 4 swipes/presses of your one finger.
How can i activate the menu with the options: use as diskdrive, sync, use as internet modem?
