Probably a stupid question, but if I want my album art to show up in the HTC music player where should I put it? I'm running the latest JustAnotherCrowd ROM.

You need to tag each file by, for example, using this: mp3tag
so i know the mediascape has this function but every time i try and get an album art it NEVER finds it.
anyone ever actually obtain the album art for a song?
Yes, this has worked for me with great results. But u have to be connected to wifi for it to work. Hopefully with an update this can be done via 3g.

so basically everytime i try and get album art it gives me - album art not found. it's freakin' NIN. how do you not find NIN album art!!!??
Yours just doesn't find art for certain albums?
Mine errors out in under a minute, doesnt even get around to searching. lol
Mine use to work fine but I just tried for some new albums I got and it either told me can't be found or error O_O I don't understand these are mainstream well known albums and it worked fine a week ago
I've noticed that if you file the mp3's in seperate folder by artist then album it seems to not like that ?
I tend to use an mp3 tagger on the pc first to get the right track details on the mp3's first though, then the album art works a lot better for me ?
Not working here either. I get "system error" when I start downloading (after the phone has counted the available album art). Reset app, restart phone, etc does not help.
I used MediaGo to upload all my music. MediaGo added album art to some of the albums. Is that also the case for those of you who get error messages?
me too, I get "system error" while trying to get album art!
I'm using the cube or 3 for playing mp3's and album art comes really easy!

so to clarify -
some people on the X10 are getting an error message while trying to get album art while using the X10. basically you play a song on the phone with mediascape, left button -> get album art -> error message
for me, i get to that screen, i don't get an error message but it doesn't find the album art.
i've used mediago and i've updated some songs. but i don't see why it's not work and why it asks for wifi connection to even get an album art.

I AM able to fetch album art for the song that is playing. (Of course, it doesn't ALWAYS find a match, but it works.)
BEFORE, the system error occured when I chose "fetch album art" from Mediascape home screen (all albums at once).
At the moment, I seem to be downloading 284 covers at once!
Those of you who get "system error" should try downloading album art for a single song first, and then download from the home screen.
If that doesn't work, try playing a song while you attempt to fetch album art. (I've got no clue if that helps, all I know is that I am now playing a song and for the first time downloading tons of album art.)
For those who are struggling.
I use album art grabber from the market. It scrapes album art for you but also gives the ability to add your own e.g. from SD or browser.
lol i didn't even know you can get album art in the main menu of mediascape. i get an error right now. but it says it finds album art. started to download and by the 2nd art it gets the error.

Never worked for me so I downloaded Album Art Grabber from the Marketplace. It (usually) found the correct album art straight away but if it didn't I just went to Amazon, downloaded the album image to my SD card then used Album Art Grabber to link it with the songs in question.

Ive been trying to get the music album art on my incredible, but Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? I want to so i can use the Album art live wallpaper. I know their are some apps in the market that do this, but they are listed as not working with the incredible. Other apps just display the album art and not download it to the proper directory like I want it to. I use double twist to sync my iTunes library but, won sync the album art. What are some simple ways to get the Music album art on the Incredible?
Download "Album Art Grabber". It automatically grabs album art for every song on your SD card. You can also manually switch each to other possibilities if the one it gives is incorrect. I've been using it for a while and love it

I just downloaded it for my incredible and it is indeed, inedible! It may say it doesn't support it but it does

Maybe its not the easiest, but I would embedding album art in your mp3s with a program like mp3tag. I was having problems until I did this. Album art should work across any device or program that supports album art going forward after you take the time to do this.

May sound picky but its annoying wading through album art to get to my photos. ; )

I know S4 by default supports it.
I asked the rom developer but I didn't get a satisfying answer.
I was wondering what should I mod in order to get album art in lockscreen again, because smusic nor play music can't see album art.

Edit: just realized I exchanged the order of the words art and album, it should be swapped. My bad

Well the latest version of s music does support album art on lockscreen if you are using i9500 device you can use first flight v6 rom. It has the latest s music .

Sorry, I'm using i9505.
Anyway, I think it's a matter of modifying something.
If the music player can't see the album artwork then the music file doesn't have it. So either add it to the file, add it to the folder as cover.jpg or use some art grabber to automatically download it.

That's not the problem. Mine is on lockscreen, the lockscreen wallpaper doesn't show the album art. I was wondering what should I modify to see album art when phone is locked (apart from smusic's option which I don't like).

Update your samsung music at google play store and now you can have album art on lockscreen ^_^
That one is when activating the option which let you switch music in lockscreen, which is imo really useless because you have already it as notice in lockscreen (they didn't even revert shuffle and repeat toggle which was useful for me at least for the latter). I know wallpaper's lockscreen changes to the album art when playing music (any rom that sticks with stock touchwiz has it). So it has to be a port problem. I really want to know how to give it album art without that nonsense option. There should be something to modify in order to get it again.
